Ann Walker was not primarily an author and that really shows in her writing. That being said, if you are looking for a journal of an ordinary (despite her being a medium) person on an extraordinary journey, this is an excellent place to start!
It's amazing what she went through and was able to get proof of! I did not read her first book, "Heaven Can Come Later", but I started with her third, "The Stone of the Plough", which I found riveting, despite her writing style. I will be getting her last book "The Messenger, The Messiah" as soon as I'm finished re-reading The Stone. If you buy it new part of the proceeds go directly to Saving the Rainforests, a very worthy cause! |
