Solidly built, heavy, and our 2 yr old daughter LOVES it. She plays in it, she eats dinner in it (when/if she eats), she'd prob sleep in it if we would let her. It wasn't too hard to put together and definitely seems thoughtfully designed and safe. One review I read mentioned it being a tripping hazard; yes, but so far only for Dad. Mom and baby have been just fine. The only thing even close to negative I can say is that it is large. It's a blessing and a curse. Our kitchen is on the small side so it's a bit bulky, but totally unquestionably worth it. If it could fold for storage I'd give it another star.
