My son and I discovered Heather Collins' family of familiar nursery song books last year at the library, and just love the warm, sweet images. Each book features the same familiar characters--which seem to be stuffed animals come to life. One or two of the menagerie are most prominent in each book, but little ones will recognize them all. We also like Collins' "Eensy, Weensy Spider," "Rock a Bye Baby," and others. Give them a try, and sing along for more fun.

This is a colourful and cuddly book for babies. We got introduced to it at the playgroup library and my little one loves it to bits. He even remembers the rhyme now, as we sing it for him, he picks up the book! In the traditional rhyme, I always imagined 5 different piggies but in the book there are only 2 piggies and they seem to make sense as a story! Great stuff!
