5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite My Little Pony Playset
This is my daughters favorite My Little Pony Playset. She has played with it more than any of the others.I guess it's the roller coaster, she loves to push the ponies down the slope. It dosen't require batteries and was easy to assemble. It is not really a portable playset but has offered hours of fun for my daughter.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the price!
My oldest daughter saved her allowance for this, and I feel like Hasbro owes her a refund. First, there are only two activites to this set, the ferris wheel and the "roller coaster". The ferris wheel will fall apart if the child isn't careful, although unlike other reviewers ours will hold three ponies. The track for the coaster comes apart at the drop of a hat, and...

The track for the coaster comes apart at the drop of a hat, and forget about trying to move this thing. As much of a cash cow as the whole MLP line is, you'd think Hasbro would put a little more money into production, even if it raised the cost of the finished product. I would NOT recommend spending your money on this one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Falls apart and boring - kids lost interest after a day, November 10, 2005
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars

Looks pretty darn cute - but just a piece of junk. The track does not stay together at all - even when pieces are properly assembled and snapped together. My kids gave up on it after a day, lost interest in it not staying together. Plus, I think they found it boring. Okay, push the car down the roller coaster. Yeah, then what? The ferris wheel they had zilch interest in also. My pony loving girls seem to have found this to be boring. My son is the only one who has played with it - just the ponies and the car to push along on the carpet. that's it.
I picked this up on clearance for less than $5 - and really, that's about how much it's worth in my opinion.
We have the castle, and while that fall apart, too, the kids still like that - how the castle comes apart doesn't ruin their play with it - but this, what fun is a roller coaster when the track doesn't stay together? And isn't something my girls can put back together themselves.
I wouldn't recommend buying this unless you find it super marked down on clearance, and only then if your child is really into ponies.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best MLP Playset Yet!, January 12, 2005

This is really cute. Both my 6yr old daughter and 3yr old son love it. The ponies are so cute going around on the ferris wheel. We use the music box from one of the other playsets (I think it's Blossomforth's) and it's just like a real carnival. Just be careful, when all your ponies line up, sometimes the wait can get rather long.

2.0 out of 5 stars Falls apart too easily, wait for a clearance sale, November 2, 2005
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars

My daughter loves My Little Pony, but I'm very disappointed with this set. Every time she plays with it, the tracks come apart. Also, even when I securely 'snapped' the ferris wheel portion together, it just won't stay attached, it's always falling apart. The butterfly 'wings' that you use to hook the ponies to the ferris wheel are constantly falling off also.

It's very frustrating for my daughter, she loves it when it stays in one piece. Unfortunently it falls apart so often, that it's just not worth the hassle to constantly be putting back together.

A good idea, Hasbro just needs better quality control.

Just like the castle, the amusement park falls to pieces. I tried super-gluing the pieces together and the smaller pieces have stayed but the bigger ones still break apart. Very aggravating. And the ferris wheel is about a joke. It's so flimsy and it difficult to manuever. My daughter LOVES MLP and has a ton of the toys (she has 43 ponies at last count!)..and she does play with this occasionally, but it just falls apart too easily.

What a piece of crap! Will not stay together after being assembled CORRECTLY! My twin daughters have probably only played with this 2 or 3 times because the pieces start coming apart anytime they are touched. I certainly hope the company that made this toy sees some of these reviews and makes improvements.

This My Little Pony Rainbow Wishes Amusment Park is so fun! THe ponies can ride the ferris wheel. The only problem with that is that one of the wings falls off every once in a while for me. My favorite part of it is the rollar coster part. Your ponies can ride down the slope and at the end, get their picture taken! It is a little educational because if you have 2 kids, they can learn how to share!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Set!, February 15, 2005
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars

I wanted to buy a playset for my daughter's fifth birthday to go with her herd of My Little Ponies instead of just buying her a new pony. This turned out to be perfect! Other playsets focused on hairstyling, which she is not interested in, but this one is all about ponies having fun!

It was simple to put together and seems sturdy so far. The only time any of the butterfly wings fall off is when my daughter spins the ferris wheel too fast (and I mean REALLY fast!), but even then it is easy for her to replace it all by herself. She can also put the ponies in and out of the wings all by herself.
This toy is great for five year old girls who love ponies. I can see how younger girls might get frustrated trying to put ponies in and out of it, but it's no problem for the older ones. The ticket booth is really cute: kids have to use the magnetic pony hoof to make it work!

Another great thing is that her Fisher Price Friendship Ponies fit in this playset as well. This is a great buy for the price and the fun value.

I agree with those who say this toy falls apart easily. There is not much activity involved in it. The wheel holds three ponies, but it leans forward from the weight of them and is hard for kids to spin. I got this on sale, thankfully, but it's still not worth even the sale price! I have seen other My Little Pony accessories like this one and they blow this one out of the water. Don't waste your money on this.
