ANTOINE DE SAINT-EXUPERY (1900-1944) was born in Lyon, France. He took his first flight at the age of eleven, and became a pilot at twenty-six. He was a pioneer of international commercial aviation and flew in the Spanish Civil War and World War II. His writings include The Little Prince; Wind, Sand and Stars; and Southern Mail. In 1944, while he was serving with a French air squadron on a reconnaissance mission, his plane disappeared over the Mediterranean.

as a lifelong admirer (and repeat reader) of the little prince, i had to get this in hopes it was great (it's pretty darn close).

i love the stickers! i also love that this is a way to get younger folks into the intriguing tale.

this is a more than decent little book, and worth it for the stickers alone!
