My 7 year old daughter loved it!,
By A Customer
This review is from: A Little Princess (All Aboard Reading, Level 3, Grades 2-3) (Mass Market Paperback)
This was my 1st grade daughter's first "Level 3" book. Although the story was somewhat different from the wonderful film, she loved it. The reading level was just right - not too hard, not too easy. And what a relief for her to break out from reading simple books with silly characters, silly plots, etc. Highly recommended.

I was looking for well-abridged versions of classic stories for my kindergartner who is beginning to read chapter books. When I came across the All Aboard Reading series of books, I was happy to note that many of the books in the series are abridged versions of classic stories such as The Little Princess, Anne of Green Gables, Black Beauty, Seabiscuit, etc. This is a wonderful Level 3 reader, and the story is abridged in such a way as to motivate young readers to continue reading so that they may discover what will happen next. The illustrations are in color and are found throughout the book which makes this an appealing reader for visual learners. I highly recommend the All Aboard Reading series of books for children ages 5-8.

I purchased this book for my 4th grade class. Of course everyone has their own learning style and I have some lower reading students who I am pushing to go above their grade reading level. My class watched the movie and they had to read a higher level reading book of The Little Princess. I purchased this book for the lower level reading students. They were able to read the book and felt good about comparing and contrasting the book to the movie.
