Beautifully illustrated and extra-sturdy, The Little Pumpkin Book is a great choice to introduce little minds to the world of books. It follows two children through the seasons as they work hard to plant and harvest their own pumpkins, and teaches about patience and life cycles. A charming little story!

My kids enjoy this book so much. It is especially nice for young children because the author has limited the text on each page and the illustrations are wonderful. It is enjoyable to read with both my oldest and my youngest.

The book was a great price and in good shape, but I hate paying the 3.99 shipping and cannot combine it even if ordering from the same seller.

There are a lot of so-so board books for small children, but this is a lovely little book with an engaging and simple story. Perfect for autumn and pumpkin picking time, but conveys the seasons in a gentle way as well with spring planting, summer growing, autumn harvest, and winter seed saving. I've had this book since my oldest (now 13) was 2...this little board book has been so loved on and read so many times that I'm here purchasing another for our 4th because autumn reading won't be autumn reading without "The Little Pumpkin Book".

This is a cute little book. I do mean little. It is only 2 or 3 inches wide and 2 or three inches long. It discusses planting, harvesting, and cooking pumpkins. A very easy to read story line that is educational as well.

Charming story, with "hidden" mice, ladybugs, and cats to point out on many pages. Beautiful illustrations. Short & sweet - we read it over & over & over & over again : )
