Format: Bath Book
My 18 month old daughter loves the Little Quack board book. So, this was an obvious bath book to try. Hey, anything that keeps her happy in the bathtub for at least long enough to get clean is good enough for me. She likes it, and wants to hear the story - an abridged version of the short one from the board book - over and over again. It's not Dickens, but that's not why you're buying this.

I agree with the other reviewers that the blowup duck on the cover is useless. It is easily removable from the book, though, and makes a great bath toy for a couple of baths until it springs a leak and you have to throw it out. But, then you still have the book, which is what you really wanted anyway.

At first, I thought, how lame--a book with little ducks going in the water and that's it. There's really no plot here. But, my son kept wanting to read it during bath time. So, each time a duck goes in the water in the book, we make big splashes in the tub. This makes my son laugh and laugh. With a little creativity in delivering the content of the book, we were able to make it a lot of fun. I agree that the blow up duck that comes with it is useless, so I just threw it away.

My 13 1/2 month old daughter loves books, so I thought that a bath book would be the perfect thing for her. She does like this book and we read it in and out of the bath. We also have the video of this particular story and this version is quite abridged. Also, the little quack blow-up bath toy that comes with it doesn't stay inflated very well. She still likes to play with it and the book has held up very nicely.

I bought this book for my 18-month old grandson, who loves ducks. This book makes bath time more fun and he's learning at the same time.

I purchased this book because I like Little Quack and because I was looking for a soft book that could get wet without being ruined and go in the crib and not harm the baby.
