As a long time heart fan & a musician & a singer this set truly personifies heart from their roots.These women are just so gifted,wonderful mystical flavor ,somewhat magical and just a pleasure to sit back and enjoy time after time.This collection of hearts early stuff is better and better the more you listen to it.Your always picking out another wonderful finger picking pattern or hammer on with gusto or beautiful guitar styling truly inspirational.Ann's voice drips effortlessly over these tranquil ballads yet soars like a ragging storms battling winds.Here is the best female voice & the most talented female guitarist in one band of our time.No others can even hold a candle to these truly gifted musicians. Ann & Nancy I thank you for the soundtrack of my life!

THis Heart Cd collection is one of the finest in exsistence. The only heart album it's missing is Dreamboat Annie. But other than that it is essential

If you have never really listened to Heart, then buy this 3-CD box set containing their earlier works. (and their first CD Dreamboat Annie) Although not listed on the list of tracks listed by Amazon and a previous review, these three CD's do contain two bonus tracks on each CD for the loyal Heart fan. There is also a very low price on this set compared if you bought each CD separately. Buy this CD set and "Kick It Out!"

Three classic Heart CDs that should be in every fan's collection. "Little Queen" and "Dog and Butterfly" are two of their best, hands down, and the only thing I would have done differently is to either add "Dreamboat Annie", or switch it with "Bebe Le Strange". Bebe is a good album, but not up to the quality of those other three (in my humble opinion, of course).

But.... be that as it may, it's a boxed set with three awesome discs. Ann Wilson's vocals with Nancy's guitars, and that is pretty darned hard to beat. Pop them in and enjoy.

I own all three cds and enjoy listening to them. All three cds showcase the vocal talents of Ann Wilson. And of course, the music is great. From hard rock to acoustic numbers. I don't know which style I like better. I highly recommend these recordings.
