One of my favorite Robert Cormier novels,

This is a beautifully-written early novel by the author of The Chocolate War and I Am the Cheese. It is amazing how he manages to describe the feelings and experiences of the main character, Gracie. Even though this novel was written a long time ago, it would be worthwhile for Cormier fans to track it down and enjoy it.
