Specialty and Vee Jay tracks, all mono,
By Phil S. (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Little Richard - Greatest Hits [Onyx] (Audio CD)
[Review is based upon Amazon "Samples" audition]:
Specialty, 1950s: Long Tall Sally, Lucille, Tutti Frutti. Vee-Jay, 1960s: Short Fat Fanny, Hound Dog (original length), Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On (rare long intro. version; stereo?), Money Honey. Some of the Vee-Jays can be found in *true stereo* on "Friends From The Beginning" (Jimi Hendrix-Little Richard). Sound is good, with the exception of Short Fat Fanny, Money Honey, and Hound dog. |
