This sweet retelling of the Parable of the Good Shepherd uses hide-and-seek imagery through a child's eyes. One child holding a stuffed lamb hides, while another child patiently seeks, all day, over and around, up and down. The simple text conveys the message that each of us is worthy of God's love; each of us is worthy of being found. By using children as both shepherd and lamb, there's also the implicit message that we must care for each other as God cares for us. The depth of God's love for them will make little readers feel special--a wonderful way to boost self-esteem as well. In addition, the endearing photos invite kids to participate actively by pointing out where the little lamb is hiding in each scene. For all Christian denominations, children ages 0 to 5.

About the Author
Heidi Bratton is the author/photographer of Get Two-Gether, as well as the four original Walking with God books. Her work has also appeared in A Mother's Touch, A 2nd Helping of Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul, and Paulist Press's Hallelujah Hats. With five children, she speaks nationally about the joys of motherhood. She and her family live in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Sally Anne Conan is a freelance consultant for television. Many of her programs have been honored by awards, including the Freedom Foundation Award. She is the author of several children's books, including Paulist Press's Little Blessings, Look and See What God Gave Me, God's Best Gift, and Thank You, God. She lives in Camillus, New York.

This book is a great way to teach your little one about the everlasting love that Jesus has for us... that He will always pursue us when we wander away from Him. He loves us so much and this book explains it in such a simple way... The GOOD Shepard. We are special to Him and He is always with us! Love it!
