This review is from: Little Ship Under Full Sail: An Adventure in History (Hardcover)
I enjoyed Little Ship Under Full Sail because it brought great adventure to my mind. It was like I had to spring into action with Nellie. She is a 9-year-old who gets captured by mean, old Indians. They take Nellie to a faraway place where she is not with her family. She thinks she'll never forget the way she used to live. She finds out that she has forgotten all of her memories. She now has a new family. She is now on her own. What is she going to do? Does she really want to go back? Even though I'm 11 years old, I love this book. I cried, laughed, was scared and didn't know what to do. My arms were shaking. I didn't know whether to put the book down or not. I really enjoyed it, and I hope that others read it to, because they will love it. My teacher is reading this book to our class. My class isn't done with the book, but they're reacting the same way that I did. I loved it, and so do they. Take my advice and read this book. It is the best book I've ever read. It could be yours too!
