This review is from: Little Sister and the Month Brothers (Mc Classic Fiction) (Hardcover)
Beatrice Schenk de Regniers' LITTLE SISTER AND THE MONTH BROTHERS will reach ages 4-8 with its story of a little sister who's busy doing all the work around the house and yard. She grows prettier and prettier as she does her chores - but her wicked stepmother can't stand her happiness despite her chores. This twist on the Slavic version of Cinderella makes for a fine story reprinted from a 1976 classic inspired by a folktale the author heard as a child.
