About the Author

Little sisters can be tiny, cuddly, smelly and sad. They can be bouncy, lumpy, sticky and brave. Little sisters can hide in small places and they can make you laugh... Sisters can be a lot of things, but most importantly, a sister can be a best friend... A lovely, lively book that explores with warmth and humour the relationships between a sibling and their little sister. For the past eighteen years, Beth has worked as a freelance illustrator and author specialising in children's books. Her work has been recognised with an IBBI - an International Board of Book Illustrators award. Beth has had shows at Balmain Watch house and Stop Laughing This is Serious gallery, and her work is widely exhibited across Australia. Her illustrations from Sister Night and Sister Day are part of the permanent collection at The State Library of Victoria. Beth has taught illustration at Sydney Graphics College, guest lectured at TAFE and universities, and spoken at various writers' festivals and teacher's conferences. Her published titles include: The Stone Baby, Sister Night and Sister Day, Little School, Cherry Blossom and the Golden Bear, Princess Pricilla and Sam's Surprise. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Format: Paperback
Australian author, Beth Norling, writes a simple story of what makes younger sisters special. Her illustrations show joy and love. Similar, to Little Brothers Are... (Toddler Tales)
