I don't have the book, but I have the six individual issues that make it up. It's a completely realistic and funny look at life as the dad of a 2-3 year old. I went through it just a few years ago and it's spot on. I even have a hobby similar to the geocaching that Simon does. He isn't stupid, he's not a slacker, and he is a thinker. He stops to look at his life and at life in general, and we get to share in his musings and decisions. Check it out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Somber and sweet, November 5, 2010

Somber and sweet.

This graphic novel has truth. I remember feeling the pushing weight on the characters. Perhaps the blue color or the art in general just provides a melancholy tone. Somehow even the sweet moments were colored in anxiety. Reads well all in one place, over the separate comic book issues.

Worth multiple readings!
