Too close for comfort...

They had been raised as brother and sister since Cammie Walker lost her family in a deadly car crash. Little did she realize that Grant Kennedy had wanted to be anything but a brother since she took up residence in his heart when she moved into his childhood home.

4.0 out of 5 stars TABOO? April 26, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Well I had to write a review since the only other one gave it a three. I'd give it a 4 1/2. I'm not one for incestuous material which this isn't. Cammie was adopted when Grant was 11 and she was 13. Grant has had feelings for Cammie from the beginning. Neither wanting to cause problems in their family so Grant doesn't make his feelings for her known until she sees him as other than a 'brother'. When she finally does allow herself to see him as a attractive man rather than 'brother' she feels guilty mostly only because she's afraid it will be frowned upon by the family. Grant is an alpha male who pushes her to be truthful to him, herself and eventually the family in how she feels for him. It's a good story.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great classic May 1, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I love these classic romances! It's such a relief from the more modern romances that seem to be more sex driven than plot driven. That doesn't mean there's a lack of steamy love scenes, far from it, but the love story is the main reason why I read romances. This book is well written with a captivating story and just the right amount of sexiness. I will definitely read more from this author.

4.0 out of 5 stars Grant <3's Cammie May 1, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This was a very good book, I couldn't put it down and ended up finishing it within 4 hours. The description of the book, having a brother myself, disturbed me. I loved it, I loved how close they were from the second that she entered into the family at the age of 3.

3.0 out of 5 stars Basic story
This was generally entertaining. The heroine's concern with the family finding out about their forbidden love is the major point of the story. However, that bit falls flat. Read more
