5.0 out of 5 stars Love and Death in the world of Terrorism, February 5, 2001
This review is from: The Little Terrorist (Paperback)
This contemporary novel is particularly relevant in today's world. Every day the newspapers are full of terrorism but we rarely learn about the lasting effects on the victims. In this novel, the Heroine, Dr. Elizabeth Stern, a pediatric surgeon, loses her husband and daughter in the Athens Airport Massacre. The remainder of the book deals with her attempts at first to survive and afterward, to find love and family again in the world. Each chapter recounts factual information from the FBI and other sources about ongoing terrorism and government surveillance of it. The settings range from Libya to Gaza to Egypt to the United States. A fast read, one can't put this book down.It stands as a lasting testament to the courage and resilience of the human spirit, as exemplified by the heroine. An exciting, emotional experience for all readers.
