My son is a very large 3 year old......45 pounds and 45 inches tall so this riding toy works great for him and it's durable. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions didn't arrive with the toy and it took 3 1/2 weeks to receive the instructions in the mail and this was a birthday gift. Needless to say, my son didn't get to enjoy his cycle on his birthday.
