this came standard with the little tikes swingset(wich is a great buy) I t is a very sturdy swing but I would say it is for ages four and up because my daughter who is a very light-weight three year old little thing often slips off the plastic swing I would highly recommend this for an older child

Unfortunately I am very disappointed in the swing seat I bought for my 3 year old son. Since it only has one string (it is actually more like a string than a rope) holding the seat, it is really unstable and my son has a hard time swinging. I have to push him since he is not that advanced yet to doing it on his own and therefore the whole thing always goes crooked or he leans too much backwards or forwards which is not his fault, it is just really hard to balancethe swing seat on one string. Therefore, I don't think that I would buy that swing seat again. Next time I will buy one that has for sure two ropes holding on to it.

My 2 1/2 year old tried to used this swing yesterday for the first time. She immediately flipped backwards. For some reason it's very hard for her to balance herself on this seat.

We got this swing to replace my daughter's baby swing for her 3rd birthday. It is perfect for her. She has a difficult time getting on herself but in time she will grow. She feels like a big kid now. The swing is very durable and reasonably priced.

This swing is poorly designed. A single rope runs under the center of the swing creating an unbalanced seat. My athletic 5 year old grandson flipped out of it backwards and landed on my concrete porch, scraping skin off his back. He could have cracked his head open. I've taken it down and am looking for a more traditional design with support in the front and back edge of the seat.

Bought this after having the baby/toddler Little Tikes Swing. My 5 1/2 year-old daughter loves it and swings regularly. My only concern is that the rope goes under the seat (as one long rope) making it very prone to tipping forwards and backwards. Consequently, a younger child may have more trouble getting on and staying on by themselves at first.

this is just lovely. it's the absolute perfectly logical transition from the strap in baby/toddler swing. I chose these for my kids specifically for two reasons. First I know and trust the brand so much. And also I wanted a flat/straight seat for my son and daughter to sit them up better and encourage them learning to pump on their own

The "kid" loves it. It was easy to install and looks like it will withstand the hardest wear and weather. It was reasonably priced and came the next day after I ordered it. What more can you ask? E Spiller

My kids outgrew the airplane swing so I needed something to replace it. This swing was very nice. I wish it came with hooks, but those were easy to pick up at the store.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter, and she absolutely LOVES this swing! We live in a small home with very little yard space, but we did have a huge sturdy tree outside our back door. We were able to attach this to the tree without a problem using the included hardware. My husband had it up within 10 minutes. My daughter can't pass this swing outside without begging to get on! She has such a blast, and it sits great! Older kids (up to about 5) have also swung on this without a problem. Hasn't been attempted by anybody older than that.
