5.0 out of 5 stars Great table!!! Recommended!
We bought this table for our twins when we moved and sold their high chairs. They've used it since they were 18mth (are now over 2 yrs old) and it still looks new even after *MUCH* abuse. Often I catch them standing on it jumping - but it still holds up fine. Very durable.

We don't fold it and put it away as the latches are a bit stiff and we really don't...

3.0 out of 5 stars LOVE THE TABLE, HATE THE CUPHOLDERS
I am a daycare provider and I recently bought two of these tables. I really love that they are collapsable. That is convenient for storage. There is plenty of room for 4-6 children per table which is great. I think the concept of a foldable picnic table is great.
The one problem I have with these tables is that they seat 6 children but they only have 2 cup holders...

We don't fold it and put it away as the latches are a bit stiff and we really don't need to keep it in the closet or anything. We purchased the table because of the folding option for when we move again (military...) as we never know how much space we'll have at our next place.

We also have a 6yr old and she sits at it fine also along with the babies. We were orignally concerned that they'd outgrow it within a year or two but that doesn't seem to be the case. It will probably be around for several more years...

The one problem I have with these tables is that they seat 6 children but they only have 2 cup holders. As a daycare provider I can tell you that can cause lots of problems for the kids, they fight over who gets to use the cupholders all the time. There should be 6 cupholders or none at all. Also the cupholders and center cutout of the table does catch alot of extra dirt and food and is more trouble to clean. My preference would be a table with no cup holders or center cutouts.

4.0 out of 5 stars Picnic Table Fun, May 16, 2003

I bought the table a few months back and it is perfect for indoor and outdoor use. During winter I used it as a dinner table for my son who has used it as a step stool too. He climbs up on it and jumps down. The table is sturdy, atleast it can carry the weight of a 2 year old without any problem. My son and 3 other of his friends shared the table comfortably to sit and eat cake during his birthday party. I love it.

This is a sturdy table that lets my 1.5 and 3 yr olds play freely and learn. It is even *ahem* sturdy enough for me to join them! I believe it is a great value from a trusted company. It was easy to assemble and the kids loved it instantly.

I bought this table as a birthday present for our 2 year old son. I decided to get this larger one since we also have a very tall 4 1/2 year old. They abosolutely LOVE this table. They play at it with a picinic set outside, playdoh, water, sand, eat lunch at it, etc. It's big enough to accomodate them both plus friends with plenty of leg room. If it gets really grubby, you can spray it off with a hose, or make it a game of clean-up with the kids equipped with a bucket of water & paper towels! The cup holders in the middle are pretty pointless, but very easy to clean out. I can already see that I'm going to have to set this up inside this winter, because it's used daily. We have even brought it into the dining room to use as childrens seating when we have lots of friends over. I can't reccommend this table enough! Well worth the money & super durable!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Table! Not so great cupholders, September 2, 2003

I truly think this is the best made picnic table I could have purchased, There were others out there for less money but as we all know the quality was much less as well. The only problem I have is the cupholders are not used for cups, they are used for accumulation of spilled drinks or food. Other than this minor problem it happily fits my 5 & 6 yr. old boyz as well as my 15 month old baby who LOVES sitting with his big brothers. It is very sturdy

Easy store insinuates that it is easy to fold up and store. In fact it says that right on the sticker attached to the table when new. It is anything but. It is extremely difficult to snap the flimsy plastic stays under the table into place. I can't believe I got them in there without breaking them. We have to leave the table up though, therefore we cannot fold it up and store it because it is absolutely, unequivocally IMPOSSIBLE to get the plastic stays back out once they are snapped in place without breaking them. This is a very poorly designed table. The dirt and kool aid collector in the center of the table wasn't such a smooth move either. For basic funtion and durability, the table is really great. Too bad the engineering flaws ruin what is otherwise a pretty good product.

5.0 out of 5 stars We Love Our Picnic Table, December 15, 2005
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Easy Store Table (Toy)
We love our picnic table. We have had it for about four years now and it has been used inside and out -- never stored so I can't address that aspect.

It has been used as a dining table when we have large gatherings, as an art studio, tent, launching pad, and now as a place to practice writing.

After being outside over the summer it is a little faded in color, with a little ground in dirt on the seats, but otherwise remains sound. Our children have climbed all over it, under it, and through it and remarkably it still stands without any significant flaw.

Five Stars. A workhorse if our experience means anything. And when our children were younger, we particularly liked that we didn't have to worry about the kids tipping a chair over.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed, July 31, 2004

On the basis of the reviews here (...), I bought this table today. I braced myself for it to be hard to put together, but it wasn't that bad...compared to all of the other children's products that we've put together. When I saw the hole, I thought "That's nice, I can put an umbrella in there", but my two-year old thought "Cool, I can drop things down there". Anyway, we own several children's tables but none beat this for meals since it is sturdy, seats 6, and can't be water-damaged. I'm going to hold onto it forever because you always need a kiddie table. I just wish the grandparents had one at their house.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so sturdy for..., November 14, 2005

I purchased this table for my 2yr old son thinking it would last for a long time. I ordered this table as we needed something shipable via USPS (we live overseas-military family) and other tables are too big to ship. The table is great in that it is convinient. However, I don't feel it is very sturdy. My son isn't huge for his age but I feel as he gets older and gains more weight, the benches will start to buckle in the middle. I have tried to sit on it a few times (I'm not a large person either) and I feel like the seat is already bending. So I don't sit on the seats anymore which stinks because I bought the table to play games and do art projects with my son. I have friends who have the Step 2 picnic table and that one feels very sturdy and like it would never buckle. If I could do it over again, I would've just waited until we returned to the states to buy the Step 2 model.
