Bought this workshop for my son this Christmas who is almost 2 years old. He loves to play with his father's tools so we thought this would be a great alternative that is safer. Took some time to put it together but not to hard. Love how there is two power tools (drill and saw). My sons favorite is the drill that has interchangeable bits. My favorite thing about it is that the tools look very realistic unlike other workshops that have baby looking tools. They are also almost the same size as adult tools but safer. The drill press does come off and a little hard for him to do so we took it off until he is older. He loves revving up the engine with his drill. The top part of the workbench does comes off easily if you lift it up so I try to carry it from the sides when moving it. I think its a good quality item and my son has being playing with it everyday since Christmas. Great choice for 1st workshop.
This was a hit with our two year old grandson. It took both father and grandfather to put it together for about 30 minutes. It has many moving parts and our grandson loves tools and fixing things. I would highly recommend it.
We bought the work bench for our grandson's first birthday. We were assuming it was too advanced for a 12 month old, but the little boy would get interested gradually. Lo and Behold, our grandson was fascinated from the moment he received it. His grandpa had previously assembled it for him. Although our grandson can't walk alone yet, he can walk around the bench. He plays with all the tools, and loves the nuts and bolts. His 3 year old sister is also enamored with it, and is finding it hard to share with him. The work bench will only become more enjoyable in time. Our grandson's dad, grandfather, and uncle took turns working (or playing) with him. Highly recommended. Enjoy.
My son plays with this for hours on end. He rec'd it as a gift when he was 2 and still plays with it every single day --- 1.5 years later. Hammering and putting screws in -- has given him amazing hand/eye coordination.
I bought this workbench because it looks so much like the real tools the boys' daddy works with. The sounds are realistic also. It is educational because the screwdriver has phillips head and flat head. Also, the drill has sockets that match the bolts, screws etc/ My 30 month old grandson loves it..as well as my 5 year old grandaughter!
I bought this for my son's 3rd birthday and he was so excited and wanted it play with it right away. It does not take long to set up and is very simple to assemble. He loves the power drill and I'm glad it is so realistic. He's had it for around 3 months and mostly likes taking everything apart now instead of putting things together. He was able to break one or two of the plastic screw parts, probably with the hammer, but most of the set seems very durable and should last him a long time. Definitely a good buy compared to some of the other sets I looked at, I don't regret going with this one it's been great!
It has always been my experience that Amazon has the absolute best pricing on almost every product I shop for, including many toys. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT the case with this toy. Do an internet search and you will see for yourself. You should be ashamed of yourself Amazon.
