My son loves his Cozy Coupe!

The hose (on the one I received) is gray, not yellow, and is very rigid, so the nozzle doesn't stay on the pump in the hole.

The sound buttons make it even more fun!

My son loves his Cozy Coupe! He cherishes it so much that it has to stay inside, my almost-two-year-old doesn't want to get it dirty. He was always opening and closing the gas cap, so we thought we would spoil him even more and get him the Cozy Pumper. It is so much fun for him. It is so fun to watch his interaction as well. He loves the buttons that make noise. He loves that he can put the gas pump in the tank. We even gave him an old card of some sort, so he likes to slide it through the credit slot.

The drawbacks are small, but they are significant enough to mention. The toy itself is light plastic. It falls over, he can lift it in the air. Our remedy: Behind the buttons is a void. We used that to our advantage and created a hole large enough to get a funnel through. We got a 50 lb bag (you don't have to use the whole bag) and filled the bottom of the pumper so that it is a little more weighted. Once it was full we covered the hole with a piece of tape. The panel that holds the buttons was a little wabbley. My husband fixed this problem with a few shims under the panel.

Bottom-line: we a few modifications this can be the perfect toy. Don't expect it to be exactly what you thought it would be. Now we fixed it up a little it is a great addition

My son was very excited about this toy as he really wanted a gas pump for his cozy coupe. But the pump base is really light so it falls over every time you move the pump hose (there is no option to fill the base with sand or anything to weigh it down). The buttons make noise but on ours the button that is suppose to make the gas pumping noise sometimes makes the horn noise which is the sound for the button below. I thought the list price was great but I ordered it from Canada, so the shipping and international charges made the final bill more than double the list price, so in the end it was totally not worth the money. But my son doesn't have any other gas pump and still plays with it even though it sadly drags along the ground everytime he fills up!

I was really disappointed with the Little Tikes Cozy pumper, it is quite unstable and falls over every time the pmup is inserted into the car inlet, the sounds are very preliminary, the keys on the keypad cannot be pressed they are just a sticker. There just make a few sounds, and no sophisticated function on any of the keys, you definitely expect more from a toy which costs so much. And then it is quite big, so it just sits there occupying a lot of space especially felt since the toy adds little creative value, and my son lost interest in it within a few minutes of the purchase, he loves his cozy coupe car, but not the pump. The so called credit card reader on the pump is just a hoax, it is just a plastic protrusion and does not do anything. I would strongly dissuade people from buying this, spend the 22$ on something more educational and creative than a big mass os plastic which just occupies space/

Great toy, much improved over my Cozy Coupe gas pump from 15+ years ago! My little boy loves to play with it and push all of the buttons!

I was pretty disappointed when this item arrived. I was so excited to see my little guy play with it as he LOVES his John Deere tractor and his Little Tikes car and I knew he'd love gassing them up. And he did have fun with it, but it's SO small and tippy and the sounds, while cute, are very quiet! Ugh! My husband is going to figure out a way to put sand in it so it's more solid and that should help, but it's not up to what I expect Little Tikes standards to be. Bummer.

I read a ton of reviews and many were negative on this toy. Our son loves all things vehicle so against my better judgement, I purchased it. He LOVES this toy. He is just 3 and this is very durable. All things get a gas fill-up in this house- cats' and dogs' included. Our little guy enjoys the fact that he can pick the gas pump up and move it when he wishes to do so. I had read that the nozzle will not stay in place. You must push up a bit to do it...and can a child do it? Yes. He has done so repeatedly.

A great toy and tons of fun for a little one fixated on all-things-vehicle!

As an aside, this toy IS made in the USA.

I knew what was coming when I read the reviews, but I thought it wouldn't be as bad as they said. I was wrong. It indeed is too lightweight and falls over whenever a child (or adult) tries to use any part of it. The gas handle part is really hard to remove from its hole, and really hard to put back in and make it stay. The button sounds are too quiet to hear, and they are very hard to push. The credit card slot is foolish since it does not come with a toy credit card. I had to give my son an old health insurance card just so he could use that feature. Seems like they could have made the handle squeezable like a real gas pump, and have it make noise when you squeeze - the separate fueling button (which sounds nothing like really fueling a car) makes a half-second blip of a noise and is disconnected from the real action. Please, Little Tikes, discard this item and completely redesign it!

The Cozy Pumper nicely complements the Cozy Truck. Like the truck, it is nicely designed and sturdily made. However, it is very light in weight, and pulling out the nozzle to extend the hose tends to tip the pump over. As others have done, I drilled a small hole in the back of the pump and poured in a couple pounds of clean play sand through a small funnel. I covered the hole with an adhesive backed felt pad of the type used on the bottom of chair legs. Problem solved!
