Product Description

Editorial Review

The Cozy Cruiser isn't the Cadillac of kiddie strollers, to be sure, but it certainly qualifies for Saturn status. This safe, reliable, well-designed stroller can either trail along behind a bicycle or be pushed ahead by steadily pounding feet. The 3-foot-long, 2-foot-wide jogger features a durable nylon-mesh sling-style seat that's big enough for one strapping tyke (or two tiny ones). A five-point, clip-and-hook harness system keeps occupants safely inside the craft at all times. They won't feel trapped, though, thanks to large side windows and a mesh "windshield" with a thoughtful roll-down cover to fend off the elements. In jogger mode, a foam-padded handlebar lets you do the pushing, while a James Bond-style hideaway wheel pops out in front. The jogger converts into a trailer in a snap, leaving no leftover parts, since the front wheel tucks under and the handlebar snaps down behind. The whole affair collapses easily for transport in the trunk of a car. --Paul Hughes

1.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware!, June 23, 2000

I just purchased this cruiser/jogger, and I am extremely disappointed with Little Tikes. While the item can be attached to a bicycle as a "cruiser" with no problem....it is definitely not suitable as a plain ol' "jogger"/ stroller. The front wheel, when you use it as a "jogger"/stroller does not swivel...it stays stationary straight! Unless you live in a neighborhood that is just one long straight path, you can't ever make a turn! I called Little Tikes customer service to inquire about it, and the rep told me that she had heard similiar complaints from other buyers, and all she could do was "log in my complaint". If you want to make a turn you have to lift the whole vehicle up with your kids in it, and it it extremely heavy!

I am extremely disappointed with Little Tikes. How could they put a product like this out on the market, and it is not usable as advertised? No where on the box did it state that the front wheel was stationary and does not swivel....and that you could only steer it in a straight line when being used as a "jogger"!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed!, July 26, 2000

Most "joggers" do have stationary front tires and you will have to lift them up a little to turn. The problem I found with the Little Tikes jogger is when you are walking, it pulls to one side and is hard to operate. I was disappointed because I have purchased so many Little Tikes products and have never had a problem with any of them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad jogger good trailer, January 25, 2001

Yes, this jogger has a stationary front wheel but I really don't think that is a major issue. My child is 18 months and 22 pounds and it is easy to "pop a wheelie" and turn the jogger, but if the front tire drags that could cause premature wear on it (it is solid rubber and the two rear tires pump up). If you have two kids in the jogger or if you child is older or heavier this may be more difficult.

For the price you can't beat it since it does both. The cheapest jogger/trailers we found at bike shops were $229 and up and a trailer-only was $129.

I don't know why little tykes made the front wheel stationary and they should change it (it was not made stationary to keep the jogger from turning over as far as I can tell).

Assembly of this product was not easy (pictures only, no text). I have assembled MANY things and this took me a good solid hour because many parts are dependent on the position of others.
