This is one of the best musical toys for the quality and price. My son comes back to it again and again, in preference to the toy piano, zylophone, etc. Definitely a must have!

This drum has lasted through all of my 5 children and now our little niece. This drum is aimed for use with very young children, but older ones enjoy it as well. My twins liked to suck on the drumsticks!! It has been stood on, sat on and thrown down the stairs, holding up to everything.

Babies can make noise by hitting the soft skin of the drum, and also the hard plastic, generating different sounds and textures. It is a great alternative to pounding on furniture, heads or other objects. The drumsticks are attached to the drum with strong string. Mine have never come detatched.

I bought this toy as well as other music-makers to add to our instrument collection.

This is a GREAT toy for your little person!! I bought this for my 9 month old son and he just loves banging on this drum for hours. The drum sticks attach to the side so you will not lose them. I found that this drum set was actually quieter than the zylophone and other little piano's. It makes only one noise, not five or six. I would definetly recommend this for any toddler as they just love to bang on things.

Really fun and sturdy. The only problem is that my daughter loves to march and this doesn't have a neck strap. So I have to either drum with only one hand or somehow suspend the whole thing by the drumstick chords as I drum.

This is a great durable drum for toddlers. My daughter even sits on it and it holds up fine. My daughter loves playing it with her Dad when they do their band session. She does have a hard time playing it when trying to march. It should come with a strap for them to put over their head. However, I guess for safety reasons this won't happen.

This toy is durable. Its sound is not exceptionally loud. My child can play with it inside and outside. He is learning how count by tapping the drum. He will be able to pass it on to his little brother in a few years.

I bought this for my son when he was 1 yr old. He is now almost 4 and still plays with this drum every day. This drum must be unbreakable. He has beat on it, sat on it, and stood ont it for almost three years.
Now my daughter, who is one, carries it around to sit on and bang on.
I am sure this drum will last another three years.
I did have to cut the sticks off of the drum. When they are attatched, my son could not bang as hard as he wanted.
Great toy, great fun, great quality.

If you want to win the "coolest parent" award from your toddler/preschooler, than go ahead and give in to this drum. It isn't loud!!! No matter how hard the pounding is---it's never very loud. That is a wonderful thing. All the joys, none of the pain!

The sticks won't get lost (and our littlest found them to be a great teething knob).

Nothing broken or even slightly bent after a full year of active play by kids from the ages of 6 months to 4 years old.

There isn't a better drum out there (that will allow them creative play, rhythm, dexterity, hand-eye coordination and will still allow you to keep your sanity).

My son absolutely loves this drum! The great thing is that the handles are attached so no losing them ever! He loves to bang on the drums every day. It is durable and fun. This toy has taught him to bang his hands on a table like a drum and to pick up any two sticks and bang on something like a drum. Well worth every cent!

My son doesnt play with this drum until another child shows interest. The drum sticks are attached with very short cords and it's hard for him to get the sticks on the drum. they need to be a little bit longer.
