We recently purchased Little Tikes 8-in-1 climber. Prior to recieving it, I read through the customer reviews, and from the information I gathered I was dreading the assembly process. To my surprise it was much easier. My husband and I did it in about 35 minutes. We just followed the directions, had a 2x4 and hammer ready and it came out great. The tunnel was the most challenging piece and required the most muscle. My kids LOVE it. This is the best purchase we've made in a long time. It's very durable and of course attractive to children, as all Little Tikes toys are. The only suggestion I would make is that it says for up to 8 year olds. However, I would say 6 years old would be more appropriate. But either way it will withstand any child. I would definitely recommend this product to our friends.

I purchased this toy for my 2 children, who are 4 and 1. We found this item also hard to assemble at first but resorted to using a heavy duty flat head screwdriver to get the parts to snap together. Once we used this we had it assembled in less than an hour. As we were pulling it out of the box we had 2 neighborhood kids come investigate, and all four were playing on it as we put it together. We have had it less than 24 hours and already have reconfigured it. My main disappointment came from the fact that the "8" different ways for it to go together were mainly just changing where the slides are and if the tunnel is high or low. The system is rated for children ages 2-8, but I think that an 8 year old would be a bit too big for the slides and tunnel. But overall I think that this is a great investment for anybody that has both an older and younger child.

I recently bought this playground, after much budgeting, for my son's 1st birthday. He is in awe of it and can't stop going back and forth through the tunnel. He also loves going down both of the slides (he can't really climb up to them yet, so I have to place him at the top and hold his hand). One of the reasons I got it was the reputation for durability that the little tikes brand carries. It has certainly held true. For those of you considering purchasing this item, but are concerned about reviews of how difficult the assembly is, I can recommend using a rubber mallet to pound the pieces together, it makes it go very quickly but doesn't scratch or bend the very tough plastic. This playground entertained the children at my son's birthday party, age range 1 year to 9 years, and there was even a bounce house there for competition! I would definitely recommend this toy to parents with children ages 2-6, maybe even up to age 8 as the manufacturer says, but mostly if the older kids will help out the little ones and not trample them!

We got this play set for our 4 year old daughter she loves it. Not only is it her favorite but all the neighborhood kids too. We have kids as old as 11 playing on it. Very well made easy to put together and well worth the money!

Abby was only a little over a year when my husband bought this for her. I said it was too big and she wouldn't use it yet, but boy was I wrong!!! She learned how to go through that tunnel at the speed of light, climb up the completely vertical ladder to slide down the slide on her very own within only a couple months. This playset is in our basement where I also set up a swing from the ceiling joists, so she has year round enjoyment from it. She loves to utilize everything on it when we are down there, I wouldn't be fretting about spending that type of money again, plus you can change it around it's never the same way. Buy it, you won't be sorry, if your little one likes to climb and tunnel, and slide, this is the toy!

My kids enjoy this 8 in 1. They play on it all day. I bought it because of the color. And they enjoy the fun. With this toy I think that you can't go wrong. It teaches them as they learn. I have one 2 1/2 year old and one 3 year old and it has taught tham alot of stuff. I have a swing set for them that I bought at the same time and it is already rusting and they don't even use it. Plus it does not get it as hot as the metal.

This is a great playset for all ages. Very colorful and very durable. My 2 year spends hours on end on this playset. It was also very easy to get it together and you can change it around to look diffrent too.

When my daughter was beginning to crawl we bought this. We put half of it in our play area in the family room and the other half with the larger slide outside in the yard. Four years later, both sections and slides are in top shape.

Everyday my daughter, family, and her friends use it. I love having half inside for those rainy and bad weather days. For fun, my husband throws old blankets over it for a "fort". Recently, my mother made a colorful tulle canopy to make it a princess castle.

My daughter is now five yrs old and we just moved both sections outside. It's easy to take apart, however, it is challenging to put both play sections together with the tube.

It's another new adventure having it all together. All the kids play on it and love it...ages 8 months to 8 yrs!

The only thing difficult about assembly and rearranging is that the pieces are bulky and hard to get a grip on - it's a two person job for sure. I do think that LT could have made the slides better, they are steep and the bottom of the slides are not high enough off the ground to bend your knees for landing, but high enough to hurt your backside. Also, the smaller slide, intended for younger kids I assume, has no ledge at the top which makes it hard to use. My kids and their friends get plenty of use out of it, but now that I've looked around there are other activity gyms by LT and Step2 that have a better overall design. I recommend taking your children someplace where they can try some different gyms before you buy. This gym is a good idea with lots of appeal, I just think that LT makes better gyms for half the price and that Step2 is a superior product all around.
