I ordered this on July 30, 2009 it was shipped out on August 3, 2009 and we just got it on August 5, 2009. Pretty decent ordering and shipping, I didn't request the 2 day ship and I liked how I could track my order once it shipped.

My son has been waiting for this toy box to go in his newly decorated Disney Cars room! When the FedEx truck pulled up he was jumping up and down and was helping me open the box. He was so excited he was putting toys in it the second I got it in his room, and was playing with his cars on the race track on the underneath part of the lid.

The toy box is made of plastic. The lid has a white plastic wheel rim and tire part of the lid has the logo "Good Year" and "made in USA" along with the Little Tikes 1-800 number. The lid is 2 1/2" high and 20" wide. The size of the box not including the lid are approximately 19" high, 20" wide and the opening is 15".

No, it's not a super huge toy box, that is something I really like about this toy box besides it goes great with his room. I have toy boxes out in my garage that I let him pick toys to swap to the smaller toy boxes in his room (this new tire toy box and a LT foot ball toy box) so I don't have a ton of toys laying around or having to help him clean up.

I bought this for my godson. I don't know if he likes it or not, but his mom and dad are car people, and he likes cars, so why not : ) As a toy box, it works great! Its huge, but can fit in the corner of a room nicely. The dad wants to get 2 more to store crap in the garage.

I am not a father, nor married, and I want to buy a couple of these now, in case they stop making them, for when I do have kids; thats how cool I think these are. : )

i had been watching for this toy chest for a month ..because it was out of stock....it came into stock on monday,i ordered it on tuesday and it was delivered on friday!!!that was with the super saver shipping!! it is adorable,a little larger than i expected and my son(whos 2) is in love with it.im just starting to decorate his racecar inspired room and this goes perfectly!!we are using it for his hamper!!

An obvious choice for any room with a car bed!
I'm sure this will hold up for years.
The only downfalls are that I need to find something to keep it in place on the hardwood. And smaller toys are to far down for my 28 month old to reach in the bottom. He can climb in and out of it though.

I bought this for my sons car themed room...its very durable and larger than I thought. My son loves it. Although we're using it as a hamper he still races his cars on the lid.

If you want something built to last, then this is the perfect solution. Our family has had this exact toy box for nearly 20 years. It has been through 6 kids and growing. We have used it for more than a toybox. It's been a chair, barstool, laundry hamper, dog house, shoe box, cooler, and almost everything in between.

Made my sons room into a garage and he loves being able to put his toys away in tires. its so cute fits about EVERYTHING and is made of hard plastic so he can sit on it with no problems. a must have for my car loving boys :D

This tire toy chest is great for my 3 year old's race car room! It really does hold more toys than I expected. My son can actually fit inside of the tire, and it's okay since there are two little holes on the side for that purpuse. I also love that he can't hurt his fingers closing the lid. My son also enjoys the little track on the inside of the lid. The best part is, he loves cleaning up!!! He thinks it's so cool that his toys get to go inside a big tire! Everyone that goes into my son's room thinks that the tire toy chest is so cute. I'm planing on getting another one.

Our grandsons are always messy about putting their toys away; however, with this new toy chest, it is fun to store their toys. They like the lid because they can race their cars on it. Mom likes the fact that there IS a lid so all the toys are hidden.

I bought this for my son's transportation themed room. I was looking for things that weren't commercialized (i.e. I didn't want a bunch of CARS characters in his room. This was the perfect fit. It's durable, adorable and functional. It holds a decent amount of toys too. I have gotten many compliments on it. It really accents a room well.
