This is a nice toy except the sound it makes can drive you crazy after about 5 minutes. Thank goodness it has a on/off switch or I'd have to hide it from my 10 month old. The "blade" part spins nicely, there's a lever that cranks back and forth, and lights flash with silly sounds when it's turned on. There are numbers on it, but I don't see that helping my son learn anything. It seems pretty durable enough, considering my son has dropped from his highchair a few times. My son has no idea what a saw is, so he just chews on it at this point. Sometimes he'll roll it across the floor. Maybe when he's older, he'll have more fun with it. So, to sum it up, it's an cute toy if you can handle the crazy noises it makes.

My son's grandparents gave him this horribly NOISY thing! It creates the same LONG annoying "chainsaw" noises continuously. It's highly motion sensitive and the worst thing is there is no volume control! His grandparents just laugh and say it's their revenge for all my noisy toys. Save your sanity - run away from this toy!

This is a really nice toy that I bought for my sons 1st birthday (he saw me open the box...so it never made it to the wrapping table) This toy is awesome for the fact that it has an Off switch for the times u dont want noise!! He throws the toy around and it just is so tough that it has not broke yet!! A Good Buy!!!
