I bought this for my son, whose almost 3. We absolutely LOVE it! We've had the Little Tikes Drive, Putt and Golf Set for about a year now, but it was terrible! Every time my son would take a whack at the ball we'd have to hunt down wherever it flew off to. No more of that! This toy gives you the option of hitting regular loose balls off the tee or green patch, OR, they can hit a ball that's attached to spinning pole. This lets them practice the correct way to hit a golf ball without having to pause in between each hit to search for their ball! Overall, I just couldn't be happier with this toy. My husband is an avid golfer, and he was happy to see a golf toy that would allow him to teach our son the correct way to hit a golf ball without all the ball searching. I absolutely recommend this!

The recommended ages for this toy is 2-6 yrs old. I would say that it is great for the two to four range. After that it is a little to babyish. Still a great toy but don't buy for a five, six year old. You will never hear the end of it of how it is a baby toy!
