This is exactly as described. The clubs are a sturdy hard plastic which, in the hands of a free swinging 2-year old can leave a pretty good bruise on Daddy--Pardon my ice pack, please. It's a nice toy, with a putting cup and cute flag, but for younger kids, get the foam clubs for your own safety.

We bought this for our almost three-year-old son. We wanted him to get a little practice golf in before we went to play miniature golf as a family. He thought it was very cool and picked up on the idea of the game quickly. I like that there are different textured areas to shoot for when going for the hole. The golf clubs are sturdy and thick- easy for little hands to control. It's nice, too, that there is the option to set the ball on the tee to hit from there, or just hit from far away toward the "green." I would recommend this toy for a child who is interested in golf.

My 3 yr old absolutely loves to play with this. Seems pretty durable and is easy and fun for him.

My nephew is really into golf and likes this toy. He received it for his birthday and hasn't stopped playing with it for over 2 weeks. He set it up in the middle of his bedroom and plays with it. His older brothers (ages 5 and 8) are not that interested in this toy. Its definitely appropriate for a toddler.

My 22 months old girl was first interested playing with the balls, but after a few days, she stopped playing with it. Maybe she is too young to have fun with it.

My son, who is 2, got this for Christmas. My husband is a golf fanatic, and wanted to get him a golf set. To my surprise, my son was excited to get it! He has also played well with it. I was worried he might be to young for it, but it has worked well!
