Good idea, but too light,

This review is from: Little Tikes My First Cozy Coupe Walker Ride On (Toy)
This is a simple version of a classic push/ride-on toy, but it is too cheap to be of much use. The plastic is light, so it does not provide any support for the baby learning to walk (heaver versions do this while still allowing it to be pushed easily). The spinning head light rattles and mouth door are fun, but my son pulls off the front door each time. The seat is too long and does not provide any support to prevent slipping off. Because of these thigns we still use it, but we have to hold our son the whole time while he rides or pushes, even at 11 months, so that he doesn't fall.

While this product was great as a push toy, it was no good for riding on. The design of it caused my daughter to constantly run over her own feet as she tried to propel herself forward. As far as durability goes, the front compartment door constantly falls off.

This toy is brilliant! My son is almost 11 months old and starting to learn how to walk. However, he refused to let go of our hands and walk on his own. We purchased this toy because it serves dual purpose:
1) It can be used to help little ones walk behind it 2) Once they get bigger they can sit on it and drive it around My son was ecstatic when he realized his new toy gave him momentum to move around the room without the help of Mommy and Daddy! He is not quite big enough at 11 months to hang on to the steering wheel and let us push him around on it but in a few months he will be. Also, this toy is very durable. It does have to be put together so it requires an electric screwdriver in order to assemble. It was very easy to put together it only took my husband around 10 minutes. I give this toy 5 stars! It is amazing to see how excited the little ones get over such a simple yet fun toy. Lastly, it is a little pricey. I paid $36.99 for it... that was the only downfall to this I thought it could be priced a little cheaper!
