Ah, even in inclement weather, it can be summertime in the playroom. And what's more summery than the age-old tradition of charring goodies over a flame? This toy barbecue grill for tots makes sizzling and grilling sounds, and has a bed of red "coals" that light up. A toy burger, drumstick, sesame seed buns, and veggies can be flipped with a spatula (all included) on the toy range, which has a lift-up lid, pushcart handle, storage space, and wheels. The grill is hollow, lightweight, and attracts the eye with primary colors. It's perfect for kids 2 to 4 years old, but please remind them that the grill does not work with real food--or fire, for that matter. Three AAA batteries, and adult assembly, required. --Diane Beall

This past Christmas I looked all over for a barbeque grill for my son, so he could be like grandpa. Every place seemed to have the same one with a green top and eyes on it, but I was looking for something a little different. This one looked better than the other styles I had been seeing. This barbeque sounds like it is actually lighting up when he presses the green button. He plays with it so much we need to replace the batteries again. Awesome product!

My son loves to watch me grill on our Barbeque outside so this was the perfect gift for him. Comes with great sounds including the click of the automatic grill starter and the sizzling sounds of food cooking away to perfection. not only that but press the button to see the grill light up with simulated heat as the food cooks. How very cool is that!!!

Add to that it comes with all the food you need for your grill including burgers, corn on the cob and chicken along with a spatula, and your little one has all they need to begin grilling up a storm. And of course as with all Little Tykes toys, it is very reliable and very durable. Outstanding toy for anytime of the year!

My 3 year old son has had this grill for over a year now and absolutely loves it! We keep it in the kitchen and he "cooks" with us all the time. The crackly grill sounds and the "glow" of the coals are really fun. The food fits, and stores nicely in it. The only thing he gets frustrated with is that the hamburger patty does not stay on the bun very well, but other than that I highly recommend this product. Not to mention the batteries do not wear out very fast, and my son plays with it quite frequently.
