We bought this basketball hoop for our 2 year old grandson hoping it will grow with him. It appears to be sturdy, was easy to set up and adjust. He wants to play "shoot" all of the time, so he obviously likes it. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

This item comes in a large box, and is disassembled into about six or so pieces. A mini vinyl basketball is also included.
Setup is minimal and the whole process takes about 20-25 mins. The pieces snap together, the base can be filled with sand or water, and can be used indoor or out.
The most complicated part of the whole assembly process was getting the net put on the hoop. Get some tweezers for this, as the holes the netting needs to go through are too small for the cord, and too small for fingers to grab the stuff too.
All in all, this set was a great purchase, my daughter loves it and it isnt so "kiddie" looking that she will be tired of it in six months. Durable and heavy duty, its a great basketball hoop that will enjoy many many hours of play.

I spent alot of time looking at comparable kids basketball hoops and from other reviews and product specs, I choose this one. I am happy with the purchase and so is my 4 year old son. We currently have it in the house, but will be moving it outside on warm days, too. It is a bit noisy and you can't use a regular-duty small sized basketball - it would probably wreck the hoop/backboard, but it does come with its own basketball(a little lighter) and it works great for smaller hands. This set looks real - not the plastic reds, yellows and blues that so often are designed into kids' products. And it extends about a foot higher than most sets do that cost more. So I would recommend this if you are in the market for a transitional set that can be set up indoors or outdoors. We have put in alot of use and it looks brand new still - it is holding up great! This is a good buy, especially for the price!

I purchased this so I could start teaching my 2 1/2 y.o. the greatest game in the world, but I find myself shooting hoops in the living room more than he does. It's very sturdy... doesn't even need sand, although I'm sure it will when he's older and we take it outside.

Good quality overall. Perfect size for kids 2 years to maybe 8 or so (maybe more, since it's adjustable)

The only small complaint is that the net doesn't want to stay attached. I put a drop of super glue on each retainer and it's good to go :)

Overall my son and I are extremely happy with this product.

We have the Little Tikes basketball hoop that is 2-4 feet and a regular outdoor freestanding hoop. Our 3 year old LOVES basketball and has mastered the short one, but can't even dream of making a shot on the big one yet. This is PERFECT for the between stage. It is 4-6 feet and can even be a little higher if you inch it above the last notch...just be prepared for it to slide down occasionally to a lower setting...no biggie to move backup. Make sure to put something (water or sand) in the base because it is top heavy if not. Our son hasn't touched any of his other birthday gifts since his dad has assembled (easy) the hoop! Don't get the other Little Tikes 4-6 foot one...Adjust and Jam, I think...it is CHEESY compared to this one...this is really is "Just Like the Pros"!

I really like this product and choose it after reading other reviews on this and other products. My kids love and I really like the fact that it goes up to 6ft so we should have it for a long time. The only issues is the net keeps comming out of the groove. I have a 4yr old and a 2yr old so they're not dunking real hard but EVERYTIME they go for a lay up the net falls down. The net is not necessary for the product to work but overall we really enjoy it.Little Tikes Just Like the Pros Basketball Set

Relatively easy to assemble. Good for all ages. Without the added sand, it is still sturdy enough for a two year old (lowest height is about a foot above his head, so he is learning to throw the ball) and can be easily moved from inside to outside. It will easily grow with him but sand will have to be added if height is increased. Very professional looking. Only problem is the net. It is difficult to thread properly and often falls off its "hooks". A little super glue strategically placed, solved the problem.

Nice little product. Good assembly directions. My 2 yr old grandson gets a kick out of it.

This is a great product that can be used either indoors or outside. It is a very durable product that has provided hours of fun for my 2 Year-old and 4 Year-old boys.

I bought this for my grandson's 4th birthay. He has a brother, age 2. I also purchased 2 small basketballs from Amazon. They both had a blast with it on Monday when he received it and mom & dad set it up. The box says its for ages 24 months to 15 years, so hopefully they will be able to enjoy it for a long time. I would recommend this product to others - it's a good quality at a good price.
