we bought this for our 2 year old's birthday. He is very small. We were carefull to find the smallest bike available for him we could find in the area. Don't buy it. The pedals are on the front wheel instead of in the middle of the bike because it is not chain driven. By the time he was able to reach the pedals, we had already bought him a 12 inch bike instead. Don't waste your money. Get a 12 in normal bike. Not to mention it wasn't red. It was strawberry shortcake pink!! So I had to repaint it before we gave it to him for his birthday.
