My son has the older version -- the blue one. I believe this one has slightly different music, but I'm sure it's still great. He got it when he was about a year old (he's 15 months now) and plays with it every single day, which is rare with all of the toys that we have. He pushes the button and dances over and over. He never really plays with the little toys on the front, he's more interested in the songs. If your child loves music and likes to dance you won't regret buying it! Really reasonably priced and by far our most used toy. Also very durable. We bought ours used, and our son is pretty rough with his toys, but besides a few little scuffs here and there it's in prefect shape. Would make a great gift too, probably for as young as 6 months and maybe even 2 and up.

Nothing fancy, just a little entertainment for a toddler. It only plays 4 songs and has a few little noise makers. He likes it, especially when I hide it for a few days and then get it out and push the button for a song. He is starting to move to the music and he seems to have fun with it.

I got this to give to my 15-month-old for Christmas, but I'm returning it and getting the Fisher-Price iXL instead. He'd probably enjoy it, but the music is very elevator-esque and ANNOYING, and really, he has enough things where he pushes a button and it plays an electronic song of his choice. I'm looking more for something where he can listen to music we've loaded on, real songs we can all stand to listen to.

Our one-year-old triplet granddaughters just love this gift. They love the little removable CDs, and putting them in and taking them out of the boom box. But their favorite part is the music. They are all now dancing to the beat of songs that --rather than being annoying--are great oldies that we enjoy, as well. The toy is sturdy, colorful and light enough that they carry it around even though they have only recently started walking. The best musical toy out of 3 we purchased for their first birthday!

This toy provides activities like spinning the ball, buttons to push, the roller that clicks, and also provides fun music that isn't irritating to parents. I would recommend this toy. My daughter's favorite part is watching the CD thing spin.

My daughter (21 months) will play the music and dance for a good 10, 15 minutes. The songs are not very long, but long enough to enjoy the beat. It's a favorite.

my son started playing with this toy since he was 4 months old and its a great way to get your kid to go on their tummy, lift their head and reach to push the toys button. The songs are very cute and my daughter who is almost three pushes the music to play with him.
I recommend to anyone who has a baby or as a baby gift as well.
