My two year old daughter was swinging in this same swing when out of no where she went flying....the piece that goes in between their legs just snapped in half and sent her into the air. Luckily my husband was pushing her and caught her before she hit the ground. It was extremely scary and we have no clue why it did that...the swing was not yet a year old and seemed to be in fine condition. The weight limit was up to 45 lbs and my daughter is only 25 lbs. Just want to warm other parents of the risk!

This swing is great...perfect for staying oudoors. The only recommendation i have is to put some "grip tape" or non-slip bathtub stickers on the seat as my daughter tends to slip down inside the swing!

This swing is easy to get the child in and out of securely. My 1 year old loves it!

My Daughter is 13 months and we use this swing everyday! Even if the weather is not nice enough to swing, if I take it down and sit it on the floor she will play in it for ever!! Great product for the price!!

This product is very well made with hard plastic and durable rope. I still have the blue one for my 4 year old who still uses it every day. My son is very rough but this swing has withstood all that my son gave it and is still going strong. The only downfall is that the rope is a little short so it's the perfect height for my little 5 month old but in order to make it low enough for my son to use it on his own my husband had to tie it to another rope and hang that from our house. Other than that both of my kids love their swings and it's so easy to take them in and out, even when my little girl falls asleep-I am able to take her out without waking her!

I love this swing, it's adorable! We bought this swing for my baby's 1st birthday, and the first time we put her in it she laughed harder than she ever has. The harder we pushed the harder she laughed! It is durable and safe and makes life a little easier. Now when I work in the yard I just strap her in and have my 5 year old push her. That way I always know where she is and i'm not worried about what she might be getting into. Overall I think this is a great product and we have been extremely happy with it.

I bought this swing for my one year old daughter because her grandparents have the same one. It is very easy to use, safe, and will grow as she does. I would highly recommend it!

My parents bought this for my daughter. My dad used chain to attach it to a strong branch on a tree at their house. My six-month old daughter fits into it well, and she's on the smaller end of the scale for her age.

We never leave her unattended and are sure to swing her gently and there have been no problems whatsoever. She loves being outside. She loves swinging. Perfect combo!

We used one for many months with my grandson so I ordered another one so that I'll have two for my twin granddaughters.

The babies find it so satisfying that I limit their time in the swing - the swinging is downright addicting to them. If I could, I'd hang both swings in my dining room so that everyone could eat at the same time and not have to be entertaining, holding or feeding a baby.

I considered buying one of the highly rated bucket swings but, by the time you factored in chains and shipping fees, they cost twice as much. If you have a lot of babies and will be using the swings longer than a year, they might be worth it. But for the short time babies require this swing, this one is perfect.

Added 11/8/2010 - The addition of another grandchild prompted the purchase of a third swing and all are doing fine, including the first one that is now nine years old. I do recommend purchasing Swing Hangers for Wooden Sets (sold here) to make them safer and a lot quieter.
