We received this item as a toy for my chihuahua from a friend. Although it's probably not meant to be a dog toy, my dog has fallen in love with it. It provides great entertainment for him. Of course he tore up the first one quickly. After patching it up several times, I've decided to just purchase a replacement one for him. The price on Amazon is comparable to the uglydoll website. I purchased the item for $10.03. As long as this toy stays a favorite for my dog, I'll be buying them when he tears the next one up.
