Little Voice,Big Difference!,
By Michael Jasmir (Virginia ,USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Little Voice (Audio CD)
We get it, Hilary Duff, you're nice.
You're the only sunny blond pop star still standing, you're close to your family, you make sweet and safe movies and music for the tween set, and even when you wear so-brown-it's-black nail polish and a Motörhead concert tee, you still don't pull off pouty. The thing is, with perhaps the exception of Avril Lavigne and Lindsay Lohan, no one's complaining. The story of teen star tiring of her girl-next-door image only to affect a more extreme, sexy one for the second album is played out by now. Ditto the "girl on the brink of self-destruction" and the "out-of-control party girl." But what is the media to do if a chart-topping teen star doesn't offer much in the way of tabloid fodder or not-a-girl-not-yet-a-woman angst or a dark side simmering beneath her seemly surface? And what if she also doesn't conform to the other extreme stereotype, that of a corny goody two-shoes who regular teenagers can't or don't want to relate to? Ask Hilary Duff. She's charming and adorable, outspoken without being preachy, a good girl without being unrealistically restrained. But mostly, she's a regular 17-year-old. And while that makes it tough to slap on her the "perfect good girl" or "dirty bad girl" label that inevitably gets assigned to all female pop stars, it's also what makes her so popular. "In some magazines, they almost want me to deny what I am, and I never do that because I really am comfortable with myself," she says. "I am a good girl. I'm not going to try to prove to anybody else that I'm not this clean-cut type of person, because I am. I'm not crazy out there partying all the time. When I have time off, I like to go out to clubs sometimes, but that's not a 'bad girl' thing to do, that's just fun. And I definitely don't dress in turtlenecks, but because I don't take my clothes off and show everything I have doesn't mean that I'm not a grown-up." Looking at the way most pop stars present themselves, it's easy to think that dressed = kiddie artist, undressed = adult artist. Duff, however, doesn't see sex as being synonymous with growth. "Certain artists my age who are going through this phase of not wanting a younger audience or not wanting people their age to like them or trying to get a more male-oriented audience will take their clothes off, and I definitely don't think that's a sign of maturity," she says matter-of-factly. "But I also think that if they feel comfortable doing stuff like that, then more power to them." Accelerated maturity -- for better or for worse, and whether the expression of it is role-model-worthy or not -- is something all starlets deal with at some point. But unlike some of her peers, who ironically end up seeming immature as they try too hard to demonstrate how grown up they are, Hilary shows a self-awareness and honesty that reveals a young woman who really is coming into her own.

"Little Voice", Big Song!,
This review is from: Little Voice (Audio CD)
"Little Voice" is one of Hilary's best songs ever. Hilary's voice is soft and pretty, when she sings this song. "Little Voice" is more of a rock tune than a pop tune and a bit of it is like dance music. "Little Voice" is a really cool single. "Party Up", one of Hilary's other songs, is on this single too. "Party Up" is a really cool dance song, and it's really great. This single is fantastic, and now make up your decision. Would you buy this? Well, let's see..Hilary's debut Metamorphosis has these two songs, plus eleven more great songs from Hilary.
LITTLE VOICE--10+/10--Little Voice has a good beat, filled with rock and dance music in it. Little Voice is one of Hilary's best songs ever. Her other best song is Workin' It Out. PARTY UP--9/10--Really great song, makes you wanna move around and dance. The last verse is kind of boring though. If the last verse was better, this song would get a 9.5. Overall, this song is really good. I have given you ratings. Given you comments. I have given you the type of songs these are. Given you how good they are. Now YOU give YOURSELF a decision. Do you want to buy this?

Big Voice From A Big Star!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Little Voice (Audio CD)
This is Hilary Duff's CD single for her song, "Little Voice," which is the fourth song on her sophomore CD, Metamorphosis. The
song is amazing and am glad that they made a single of this! To say, I am a huge fan of Hilary Duff, especially her music. I don't know how I could live if Hilary never hit this planet! She has the sexiest look in Hollywood, and is ultra-kind. She is involved in Kids With A Cause, and a strong animal rights advocate, along with Lizzie McGuire stars Ashlie Bruillalt (Kate) and Clayton Snyders (Ethan). This is a simply brilliant hit from Ms. Duff, and she definitley does NOT have a little voice! This album also has a dance remix of her hit, "Party Up," which is the tenth track on "Metamorphosis." Not having this album, however, I do not know how the remix sounds, but I love the original, that's for sure! Be sure to look for Hilary Duff's new release, "Most Wanted," featuring the hit "Wake Up," this August!

Not "Little Voice," Big Voice!,
A Kid's Review

This song "Little Voice" is straight off Hilary's Metamorphosis CD which rocks by the way. Little Voice is actually the best on the album, which makes this one rockin' too. Party Up is a wonderful song also. (except for last verse)But you're better off with Metamorphosis anyway.

I'm drunk right now, or at least I should be reading these pathetic reviews. I mean, do you guys even have half a brain? One person has 2 out of 10 helpful reviews, that's pretty bad. Your message has to be pretty pointless to get that. We know she had 3 amazing singles, it's now actually 6. Actually, it was 4 then cause the person forgot Why Not. Then, we have someone saying her two best songs, and two morons saying how much they love these two songs. Ok, saying you love or hate songs is fine, but at least give a reason why. You don't get anywhere with writing, "Oh, I admire Hilary Duff, she is my idol." Yeah, we don't care. We want a real review written not a bunch of junk. Amazon should make it at least that the reviewer has to write 30 words or at least 3 lines down. There is only one of 4 that has more then 3 lines, and it's not even 30 words. This is a cd single so I expect the review to be small, but this is outrageous. Anyway, here is my actual review:
Little Voice- Great song, heard it on the album, which I own as well, but it is just a fun, upbeat song Party Up(Dance Remix)- Fantastic, gets you moving even better then the original, not as good, but it is just as fun to listen to. Like a real dance song for parties. And you even get a free mini poster/calender with it. I think it is a great buy and you won't be disappointed. See, that's all you need to write, not so hard, is it? Anyway, I thought it was time somebody said something, it's just so bad with alot of the Hilary stuff, well anything on here as well but in particular, Hilary and Britney's stuff seem to be the worst for reviewing, in general. GET IT!!
