She founded Livingston Hall Publishers in 2002. Named for her great, great grandfather, Edward Livingston Hall, who owned a publishing house in the late 1800's, until his passing; Samantha resurrected this legacy as a way of honoring him for passing onto her his love for the written word.
Working in the production aspect of publishing has provided her with the expertise needed to produce develop and design books from the inside out. When it came time to publish her own work, her experience in the field lent her the ability to produce several genres, specializing in Christian Historical Romance, Amish Romance, and Amish Mysteries.
Her first book series, Little Wild Flower, an Amish Romance, was borne from her up-close encounters with the Amish community she lived near in Indiana until 1995 when she moved to Florida.

husband that she had loved at age 16. Truely great writing.
Her faith sustains her as she struggles to accept what haws happened. Finally, she plans a trip to her childhood home to see if by putting the old demons to rest, she can banish her new ones as well. She discovers a gift she could have never imagined.
You will enjoy following her footsteps of discovery. The best of Amish fiction. Showing life as it IS, warts and all, and how faith can ease our journey, no matter how unexpected the path may be!
This book is just as poorly written as the first with formatting that is lacking in quality and writing that wouldn't have been saved even had the editing been better. If a book is really good, it becomes possible to ignore the gaffes in editing. In this book though, I couldn't.
The story is continuing the lives of our main character Jane and her family. In this book, she remains a flat lacking in complexity character who whines her way through life. The book tries to have a story line but it is all so condensed in so short of a time that we are left unable to know anything about the characters beyond their ability to procreate and that they whine... a LOT.
Jane makes decisions that leave one feeling that if you knew her in person, you'd have no choice but to give her a slap to wake her up from her self induced pity party. She is an extremely unlikable person and it is hard to read a book where the main character is like that. Side character, ok; we all like to have someone to hate in a book, but not the supposed heroine.
All in all, I'm sorry, I just can't recommend this. I know that I will get a million bad ratings on this review as it seems to be happening to any review that doesn't like this book but that's ok. I won't lie just to make my reviews look more helpful. Save your money here. Please.

I thought Book 2 was so exciting. I was kind of bored with book 1 and didn't know what to expect with book 2. But it stayed interesting through the whole story.Published 10 months ago by Mary Johnson
