Grade 3-5 Little Witch is back, this time making toys to play with, to display, as decoration, or to give as gifts; all can be made from inexpensive and/or scrap material. Specific ideas are grouped into broad categories: friendly animals, easy-to-make, and holiday/seasonal toys. Ideas are also given for the young entrepreneur who wants to host a ``toy workshop party and sale,'' including Pinocchio Cookies for refreshment. Little Witch's tips are given early on, and provide sound advice concerning the need for adult advice and consent, cleanliness while creating, and the unique qualities of each item. The book is not easy to follow, though, as directions are not clearly outlined or numbered. Instead, necessary materials and instructions appear in paragraph form. Labeled illustrations in black and mustard are provided for each toy idea, although again, these may be difficult to follow, as they are hand-lettered.
