First of all, this is a beautiful guide. Every time I pick up one of the Brady Games guides I'm impressed with the quality of the actual item. Nice smooth pages, great colors, etcetera.

About 66% of this guide deals with the story mode. This involves a checklist of items for each level, as well as hints and tips on completing them successfully.

The remainder handles the level creation tools, which is really where the replay value of LittleBigPlanet is going to be. Once you've read this, you'll be able to create your own level with relative ease.

Of course, LittleBigPlanet itself has tutorials for most of the items you can use to build levels, but having it in one place for future review is timeless.

So, all-in-all, a very solid book.

The minor issues I mentioned in my review title are solely that:

a) There's no overview map of the story levels. Granted, these levels are rather large, but I'd still like to see a couple of pages near the beginning, with the full maps.

b) A comprehensive checklist of items. In other words, here's all of the stickers, and where you can find them. Etcetera.

I'm also not seeing a listing of items you receive after doing the tutorials.

I can't remove an entire star because of these two minor issues, so 4.5 stars is rounded to 5.

You'll use most of the guide for 100% completion in story mode, once, and refer to the rest for as long as the level creation functionality keeps your interest.

I purchased this guide thinking I wouldn't have to use it often. As I started to play the game and progress further and further, I noticed I was only getting 60-80% of the items in each stage. Even when I played with friends we still couldn't get 100% of the items. This is where the guide helped out a lot. There's maps for each stage which also shows where each item is and how it could be reached. There is also a checklist in which boxes can be checked as you progress so you know exactly where you're at. That's not an option for me because I like to keep my guides spotless. What I also like about the guide as well is that there is a section dedicated to the creation tools so those who are interested in creating levels can get an idea of how to make better levels.

This guide is highly recommended for anyone who wants to find all the goodies in LittleBIGPlanet. I totally love it.

It even has quite a few pages on how to build things. Very handy indeed.

The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the goodies in the guide are listed aphabetically, and thus, not in the same order as in the game. Checking which goodies you haven't found is a bit of a drag because of that.

But other than that, this guide totally rules. At the price of less than fourteen dollars, it's a steal.

Me and the family love Little Big Planet and this guide helps us find all the little extras that are secretly hidden away. The lay out is great and the guide is easy to comprehend. I recommend this if your a fan like I am.

Little big planet gets played quite a lot around here. I got this book just in case there was something we missed but mainly for the how to create section. Very nice full color and was cheap.

New - delivered as advertised. My daughter loves it, and it has helped when playing the game very much. Highly recommend this to anyone who has purchased the game.

I ordered from Amazon and got the small section on creation which made me want the full book. well my wife got it for me and I am totally satisfied with it, it has great creation tools and shows you the way to get through the game with all the items etc. well worth the money so go out and buy this book.

We love playing this game and the guide really helps you in the tough places. I don't know if I could have conquered the game without it. And it's so helpful with the creation of your own little worlds.

I was going to purchase this product in another store with a physical location, but it was cheaper here even after including shipping. Also, by buying here it came to me in perfect condition while the ones in store had been played with and beaten up. It was a gift for my little brother and he absolutely loved it. I asked him if he had learned anything and he said yes. He was very proud of the levels he was able to create using this book. It was a great deal and it got to me very fast. I would do it again.
