4.0 out of 5 stars She loves her piggy!
My daughter loves the LPS digital pets line. Again, this was purchased on sale for Christmas. The premise is that you have to feed, play and put to bed your pet. IT is like a Tamagotchi only cuter! You pretty much roam through the town and park. She clicks on bushes and find frisbees and plays with her pig. The little corn on the right hand side when pressed feeds...

1.0 out of 5 stars A real flop.
My eight year old daughter tried to play this, but with no instructions was unable to figure it out, and it now sits on her shelf in her room collecting dust.

You pretty much roam through the town and park. She clicks on bushes and find frisbees and plays with her pig. The little corn on the right hand side when pressed feeds the pig. We still haven't figured out what the pink knob on the left side does.

Overall, very cute, but will not hold an adults attention for long. I feel it teaches them some sort of responsibility.

I got this for one of my younger sons as he was slightly jealous of his older brothers having some handheld gaming systems. This was marked down very low and I thought I'd give it a try. Even if it was a little girlish for a boy, haha.

He enjoys it and after a while was easily able to navigate around and care for his pet. It's been dropped a few times and so far so good. Not exactly educational but a nice change in pace and fun also.

These are great little toys to take with you when running errands, restaurants, waiting in line, etc. They clip onto your bag and great for little hands. The action is not all that involved so would be more appropriate for a younger user. The screen is small and it's not in color but my little ones love to carry around their pets and play with them.

The "instructions" that come with this toy are worthless. They say only that you need to feed your pet and groom it, but say absolutely nothing about how to go about doing that. My six year old is heart broken, in tears, because her pet won't do anything, and I can't figure it out either. Her friend has one of the kind with the little food and brush charms that hang down, and that one is apparently much more straightforward. This one has one button for toys, and one for food, but no matter how many times we push them, the digital pet continues to be "empty" on the "Paw Meter". You can't "play games" with your pet unless the Paw Meter is full, and as far as we have been able to determine, there is no way to fill it. I'm completely disgusted that I wasted my money on this, and even more disgusted that a toy for young children would come with absolutely ZERO helpful instructions.
