This new Little Pet Shop game is super cute for girls expanding a variety of ages. The arcade portion contains really entertaining and cute games that help you earn Kibble coins to accessorize your pets. DS games are very hard to come by for my daughter since she is so young (4 years old). This game fits the bill for the youngest DS fan up to girls who are in the upper elementary grad level. LOL Who am I kidding...even I had fun with some of those arcade games. Some games include: a Plinko type game, Skee ball, Ring Toss, duck pick, and others. Oh and as a teacher I was pleased to see some sorting games, matching games, and sequence games....so there is a twist of educational value to the game as well.

I bought this game for my daughter that is in kindergarten and she loves to play it. The characters are very cute and the game does have a lot of things that my daughter can do with ease. However, she is just starting to learn to read and there is a TON!! of reading in this game. So I spend a lot of time reading things to her. Also some of the games you have to play to earn kibble coins were difficult at the easy stage even for me (a 32 year old).

I would recommend it to friends while making it clear that they need to plan to spend a lot of time playing this with their child if they can't read.

We purchased this nintendo ds game for my daughter as well as the one for the wii and she enjoys playing both of them. The first day she received the present she played the game all day and has played it every day since. My 5 year old son enjoys this game as much as his sister, it is easy to play for younger children as well as easy to understand.

My 9 year old niece loved this game and played it several hours after she first got it. She was still playing it the next day. Her 8 year old sister liked it too. It does require reading. Lots of thought balloons. Very fun for elementary age kids who know how to read. My favorite part was that they played it silently with the sound off. It has sound but apparently it is not needed to play the game.

My 6 year old daughter loves this game. It took a little bit of guiding from me and my wife to help her understand what the game wanted her to do, but now that she's got the hang of it, she loves it. We also got Littlest Pet Shop City, but decided to trade it to someone else because it's too similar to this game. Apparently there are different pets to unlock and such, but the look and feel and initial areas are exactly the same. My daughter was a bit disappointed by that, so we decided to pass the game on to a friend and get a different game.

My 9-year-old daughter loves this game because she can actually win it. She's played it over and over since she got it gor Christmas.

Our little seven year old has been playing this game all day today. It has some very creative elements in it. She often gets frustrated with some of her other games, but hasn't had too many difficult moments with this one. She even made up some songs "sung" by some of the Littlest Pet Shop friends.
We ordered this a little late as a last-minute gift from her grandma, so were very relieved when it showed up in time for Christmas.

very cute "idea" for my granddaughter....as we live near the beach...and so this game reminds her of her FAVORITE grandparents!!! :-)

I like Pet Shop. It is a really, really good game. Playing with the pets is fun. There are a lot of cool games. You can feed your pets, give them a bath, and explore the towns with them. There are cats, dogs, bunnies, bears, penguins and a peacock. It is one of my favorite DS games.

Purchased for my child's 9th birthday. It was fun, but way too easy for her and she completed the whole game within a couple of days, so it didn't last very long.
