Littlest Pet Shop Little Lovin' Pet Playhouse

My daugther is 5 1/2. She has had these pets and the pet shop for over a year. This is one of the most played with toys she has ever had!! The pets are very cute, their heads wobble and I think it is all very reasonably priced when you purchase the pets separately! Highly recommend. My daugther is very imaginative and loves these little pets and creates so many scenarios. These little pets have followed us from the pet shop to my daugther's doll house, the pool and the tub!

I am thrilled that I finally found a toy that inspires my 5 year old to create her own stories! While I usually focus on intellectual development with games for her, I found a need to offer something other than crafts to develop her creative imagination play and independent thinking. Works like a charm!

As her collection has grown she has gotten so clever in naming each and every one (32 now, and she remembers every name AND personality they have AND how they relate to each other). Her "play" inspired me to use these little personalities to teach her about different personal interactions she has in school and on the playground (--highly effective for a shy child).

The entire LPS line is a perfect "incentive" for her age group too. I use individual bobbleheads as a bonus for good nutrition choices. Specifically, if my little girl will forgo even asking about going to McD's for crummy food and cheap toys for a whole week, I will give her nutritious food that week and one bobblehead pet. And, heck, at about $2-4 per pet, I save a fortune over those "not-so-happy meals."

There are a few quirky drawbacks... (1) These adorable bobbleheads can be addictive... finding them at different retailers begins to feel like a (fun) scavenger hunt. That's fun doing it that way, but now Ebay sellers seem to be buying up all they can (at the price point fit for a child's small allowance) and CHARGING double to 10 times retail as they try to create a new "beanie baby debacle" out of this toy that should be PLAYED WITH rather than scooped up by adults to make an extra $5.

(2) Because growing the collection is so fun, you can outgrow the limited space in the Playhouse quickly... meaning you might want to plan on the Whirly-twirly playground thingy right from the beginning. Just expect it and set aside the $30 for your collection to grow... because it will. Oh, yes, it surely will! :)

My girls are both BIG fans of Littlest Pet Shop items and have been slowly collecting them. They are begging for a couple of new pieces for the holidays.

They sit and play with them for hours at a time...I give this series 5 stars except for 'educational value' as really there is not much to learn from tiny pets outside of individual play.

I suggest this toy if you have children who love to play pretend (boy OR girl) and love animals! My oldest is 9 and is still going strong in her desire for wanting more of them.

We've recently become new fans of the Littlest Pet Shop toys. I see we because I think the toys are adorable as well.

My daughter got the Little Lovin Playhouse for her birthday and the other toys have been on the top of her Christmas Wish List eversince. She is in love with the cute little pets (puppies, kitty cats, mice, hamsters, turtles and more) and accessories. Even her 7 year old big brother gets in on the fun as well. They both love playing pretend with the little animals. It is also the most requested toy whenever their little cousins and friends come over for playtime. It really gets their imaginations going.

I have since bought a plastic Littlest Pet Shop storage case to house their growing collection of pets. The toys are small so they take very little room in their play area. They are also portable so that they can take it with them when they want. I usually take care of any other storage 'problems' (the accessories can be small) by giving them a ziploc bag or lunch box so that they can put everything in there when they are done.

We definitely will be buying more pet shop toys in the future. The kids love them and I think they are well worth the money. Littlest Pet Shop is a fantastic new toy for little imaginative minds and animal lovers.

Hi, I'm Charis. I love this cute toy! I don't have the one with bonis pets, though. If you don't already have any LPS pets, then get the one with bonis pets. This toy is bigger then the Get Better Center, but smaller than the Whirl Around Playground. Now I have 10 pets! There's a long hampster tube, where you're hampster can land safly in some woodchips. There's also a toybox where you're pets can put their paw on the lock, and open it up to find a tiny bear with an adorable little bow around it's neck! There's also a hampster weel where you're ADORABLE hampster can run on, a little thing where you're pets can spin on, a hose and tub where you're pet can get bathed, a cat litterbox, a doggy bed, and more! You're never too old for LPS, heck, I'm 11!

This is what my daughter has to say about this toy....This is my favorite petshop toy. I love this toy! I play with it every day. I play with my pet shop toys. I put lots of them in it. Buy this toy!

I love this toy! It's really fun for everyone! I play with it with my friend Kate and when we do play with it, we have a blast!!! It's complete with a hamster wheel, food dish, and hamster tube!! I HOPE THAT WHO EVER BUYS IT, WILL HAVE GREAT FUN LIKE ME & KATE!!!

We got this for my daughter's 5th birthday and she absolutely loves it. Was better than the sets we had seen b/c it came with 4 pets-and all the individual pets were sold out at Target. She loves to set up the little pets in the shop. Great for this age girl.

This toy has things that a real pet shop would have. It is a great start to a kid who just started collecting

I own this and got it before they added the four bonus pets, so I only got the dog and hamster. My dog is Dottie and my hamster is Squeegie (he looks like a Squeegie to me) are both really cute. My fave part is the hmatser tube and wheel. The dog can fit in the wheel but it's kinda wierd, you know...dogs don't go in hamster wheels, but It's cute and I love it.
