We have enjoyed a few Littlest Pet Shop VIP stuffed animals. The on-line world has provided hours of enjoyment for my children. They started using it at age 5 and 7 with no problems. They were able to navigate around on their own and would laugh with delight at the different games. NOT THIS TIME. The new on-line world with LPSO is very unfriendly. The map feature doesn't seem to go anywhere. We were unable to move the pet around and find the places on the map. We stumbled on a couple of games and then couldn't get out of them. We gave up. The old version was so much easier to use. It is a shame they "improved" it. Be aware: there is no cross over between the previous on-line world and this one; previous VIP pets cannot be transferred over and played with in LPSO. Another huge irritation is that they "give" you "premium" access for your first thirty days. After which you have to pay $7 per month to retain premium membership or the site becomes a stripped-down version. As a parent you can't even decide not to try the premium membership. Very rude, strong-armed marketing. No thank you.

Cute toy but if you think this is simialar to Webkinz online toy, forget it. This website is the most user unfriendly site to work with. We had to set up way too many user/parents accounts to the point where we ran out of password names, account names, user names etc.

Finally get to register the toy with the 20 plus number ID tag and it said that the toy was already registered and we could not continue any further, WHAT??? a new toy and it had already been registered?? After trying to calm down a screaming, crying little girl ON CHRISTMAS MORNING we tried to redo everything all over again. Sent numerous emails to customer service and never got a response. Called them and was on hold for over 20 minutes and then got cut off.

Parents, if you do not want to pull you hair out and spend all you free time to register this stupid toy I STRONGLY recommend that you buy something else and not this rip off. Hasbor better get their act together online before marketing another play thing.

I purchased this toy for Christmas for my 10-year-old daughter. She was so psyched about getting it. Not so psyched anymore. We tried repeatedly this morning to register the pet online and kept getting an error. I finally emailed customer support to get help. They asked for the code and screen shot of the error page we were getting (even though I had already told them word for word what the error said and the sequence of events). I sent them what was requested and then they told me that it was already registered. Sure enough when I tried to go through the registration process again it said the pet was already registered. So now I try to go back to the main page where you create your pet and I can't get there. I close down the browser and even go to a different computer in the house to try to login again and start over but once I hit "play now" or "enter a pet code" (both ways that I got to the login screen before), it still takes me to the same screen that says come back later. My recommendation is to leave this toy on the shelf until they improve the website. I am really disappointed in Hasbro. I thought they made quality toys.

I bought this in the clearance for $4.95 or thereabouts. I wouldnt have paid the full $19.99 for this toy. My daughter is only 3 so i didnt purchase this toy use the online game part of it. I bought it because she loves soft toys and Littlest pet shop, so really at the cheap sale price i had to get this. It is really cute and soft and i think she will love it when she gets it for christmas. The only thing i didnt like was that it was way smaller than i thought it would be. It was shipped immediately and i received it within 2 days, well packaged too. Really nice toy for the cheap price. Happy customer :)

After witnessing my daughter burst into tears a few minutes ago upon getting an "account expired" message on the Hasbro littles pet shop VIP site I can simply say we will not be purchasing any LPSO or similar Hasbro product. As my daughter said "the littlest pet shop people are stupid, dumb, mean, dirty dweebs and doo doo dunderheads". On a good note we can move on to a more friendly, educational, and enriching web experience elsewhere.

Well, at least it was cheap but they said the website to register the pet would be shutdown December 1st.
At that point it became a cheap doll.

Bought this for my daughter last year. It's very soft and cute. She loves it and a year later it's still one of her favorite toys.

All of my granddaughters love kittens and they love littest pet shop. when this one became available from Amazon, i had to grab it up because i could not find it anywhere else and my baby granddaughter has been begging for it (since her older cousin has it and does not like to share her pets). This was a wonderful hit and a bed buddy for sure!

LPS online website states it will not be available starting 12/1/11. Buy these only if you want a durable stuffed animal- not for the website access. I don't know if they are coming out with a new website, or just cancelling it altogether- just FYI before you buy.

I had the same issues that others have -- inability to log on to the website, after numerous times trying. My six year-old got this as a gift, and the timing seemed fortuitous, since her year-long Webkinz membership had expired. Wrong! I'm just glad that I didn't try as long as some other people -- instead I ran out and spent ten bucks on a Lil' Kinz, so she's back on Webkinz World. Best ten bucks I ever spent.
