My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves these pets, they go with us everywhere. I saw this toy and knew she had to have it. It comes with an adorable mouse an dog. It has a slide with the magnet so two of their pets can slide, a merry go round, a race with a tunnel, also a wind up carousel(which is great because it requires no batteries). It has plenty of room for all of your childs pets to have a great time. It snaps together very easily and is built very well. The colors are gorgeous as always. If your child loves these pets this one is a must.

Hi, I've collected these toys since early this year.
I turned 12 in August, and this toy was the only thing I would like.
And I got it! And this is the only toy I play with, it's also good for space, too. I do have the playhouse, the salon and the doggie caffe, but I have so many pets, that's not enough space! So when I got this toy, I was very pleased because there's so much space! I love the pets too, because they're the right size to put in your bag and your pockets.
I don't think this is just a playground, I use it as a house for my pets. Whenever my friend and her 6-year-old sister come around, well, my friend isn't a problem, but her sister is, she brakes everything, but with this toy, nothing brakes at all!!! Not even the pets heads come off!!!
All the pets can have a race, and you can choose who will win.
The pets can have a snack in the caffe, and then they can go down the slide - weeeee!!!!!
Then, I agree with another kid, this is my favorite too, you can put four pets on the treehouse, then wind up the round-about, put another pet in the middle of the treehouse, then around they go! Then , while they're up there, they can get a cool view of the sunset, and they can take a nap under the stars!

My daughter is known in our family for her strong affinity for puppies and kitties. She prefers to play with any animal-related toy over baby dolls, Polly Pockets, and Barbie-style dolls. I was absolutely THRILLED when Hasbro (re)introduced them this year (I think the now-defunct Kenner used to make them). They were a much bigger hit with my daughter than the My Little Ponies, mainly because of the variety of animals. She literally spends HOURS playing with this set, and all of her little animals. We recently moved, and then had to evacute TWICE due to hurricanes, and every time, I made sure that we had this set packed for her to play with at our destinations. This playground is a much more successful design than the Celebration Castle for the ponies (which was huge and never stayed put together). This has different zones of play (merry-go-round, wind-up swings, slides, etc) and both was easy to put together, and hasn't broken/or fallen apart. It doesn't require batteries. My only complaint (and this would apply to most toys in this style, ie trains, dollhouses, etc) is that they are big(ish) and take up space. I have set up a table in my daughter's room and she leaves this out all the time. It is easy to disassemble and store (but much easier to play with when it's out). I would highly recommend purchasing a bin (or two, or three!) to store all the animals, accessories and other sets in, as they have lots of little bits and pieces. I found this set to be the most used and enjoyed set out of all of the Littlest Pet Shop "buildings". I would recommend purchasing additional pets- usually the set only comes with a few, possibly just one depending on the retailer. I consider this to be my first choice toy for Nana to have at her house when my daughter goes to visit. If your child is an animal freak, I can't recommend this enough. I chose to rate this a "3" on educational value, because there's no reading, memorization, arithmetic, etc. This is strictly pretend play at it's best. Thanks for reading my review.

I bought this for my daughter for her 5th birthday. She has several another Littlest Pet Shop pieces & loves to combine them in "a whole pet world!" As mentioned in other reviews, it really inspires her imagination & the "pets" are perfect to take along in a purse or back pack.

I recently began collecting Littlest Pet Shop pets. When I got 9 of them, I started to wonder, "Where can I put all of these?" When I saw this set at Toys "R" Us, I found the answer. The Whirl Around Playground is a fun hang out for all the pets. They can ride on the treetop swings, have races through the tunnel, spin on the merry-go-round, sit in the hammock, eat at the cafe, or go down the slide in a magnitized car. This set includes an adorable puppy and a cute mouse. The Whirl Around Playground is SO MUCH FUN!

I never could have imagined that LITTLEST PET SHOP would release another fabulous toy set after the LITTLE LOVIN' PET PLAYHOUSE - which I adore - but they have achieved absolute greatness with the release of the WHIRL AROUND PLAYGROUND.

In this set - which requires a minimal amount of assembly - your pets are able to take a ride on the treetop swing set, ride down the slide, spin on the merry-go-round, relax in the comfortable hammock, eat at the cozy cafe, compete in an obstacle course, ride the elevator, sit in the sandbox, and get a view of the world from the observation deck.

It is amazing how well each feature in this playset works, and how much fun it is to play with the set. Most animals fit in every area, and more than twenty pets can occupy the WHIRL AROUND PLAYGROUND at a time. This set includes a cute gray mouse, a prissy puppy - who comes with a pair of sunglasses that actually stay on - a food/water combo dish, a bed, and a slide, to make the most of your pets stay at the WHIRL AROUND PLAYGROUND.

The best thing this playset offers, however, is the fact that no batteries are required. Things move by the touch of your hand, or by turning something clockwise. A must-have addition to your LITTLEST PET SHOP collection. Hours of fun, and no batteries needed!

I have 45 of these pets. I have this set This comes with 2 terrific pets. There is alot of space . There is a slide, a cafe, and my favorite, a tree house merry go round that you wind up. this does have a learning purpose to me because it uses magnetic power for cool features.this also does't just have like "a dog" It has a special breed of dog so kids know different types of dogs then just known as a dog

This toy was on my 7 year old daughters X-mas wish list. She begged for it so much. On X-mas morning as she opened each gift she muttered that she hoped it was this toy. I figured this excitement would last a day or two but it has not left. A lot of her friends have sets with various animals. They trade the different animals and her excitment is adding to her collection. She now has three of the sets and ten animals. She can't wait to add more. Good durable set which is educational since we talk about the different animals. I highly recommend this toy!!!

My 2 children spend hours concocting stories and scenarios with this toy. It actually does use some creativity and imagination - certainly a better past time than TV!!!

This was the first littlest pet shop toy for our household and its a hit, our daughter just loves it (age 6). We have already added several pet shop animals to the set. Great toy full of hours of imaginative play.
