I really like this Littlest Pet Shop playset.

It comes with multiple props, a dalmatian pup, and an animal ambulance with fun lights. The set is durable and should take plenty of wear and tear. There are a few pieces that are made of cardboard that you might want to be careful of, but if you aren't too rough with those pieces, you should be okay.

The best thing about this playset is that it doubles as a place to store or display your pets. It's thin enough to store under a bed or on a shelf!

Take a peek at my video review to see this fantastic Littlest Pet Shop playset! Keep in mind that this is only my second video review and my first review where I am speaking!

This is one of my daughter's favorite toys. It makes a great introduction or addition to your Littlest Pet Shop collection. Basically, as my video shows, this set contains a medical playset designed for Littlest Pet Shop with lots of accessories including an x-ray equipped ambulance, a fold out medical center, and medical equipment. We were disappointed however by the inclusion of cardboard pieces (unfinished even on exposed sides) that limit the durability and appearance of the toy.

My niece loved it! However as an adult that had to undo every little piece put of the package - I didn't! Not for toddlers or under 5 , too many little pieces, but on the whole, a great present for kids who love Pet Shop and animals, as my niece does. She is 11, but still plays with non - electronic toys, which is a surprise in this day.

If you have a Little Pet Shop fan, this toy is sure to please. It has many features, with lots to keep little hands occupied. The animals are very cute. There are, however, a few things that I would like to share. First, it will take forever to actually take all of the pieces out of the packaging. There has to be a better way! Storing is also a bit of a pain, so many little pieces to keep track of. For the price, I think it could have come with a few more animals. Otherwise, it's a really nice product. One final point, although this appears to be targeted at little girls, my young grandson thinks it's great.

Littlest Pet Shop Rescue Tails Center Playset

My daughter is all about the Littlest Pet shop pets! She has quite the collection and this set just made her day.
In this play set, you get the bobble headed Dalmatian puppy and three smaller bunnies (not bobble headed) as pets.
You can certainly add your own pet shop animals to have more fun and extend the play.
It also comes with several accessories like the ambulance, swing, band-aid stickers, x-ray chart, stethoscope, tiny bottles of medicine and dog treats. So with all these and other accessories, this can not only make playtime fun but add a different dimension for a collector.
I think this play set would be durable as long as it isn't thrown around, it is plastic so it could crack if it is dropped or abused.

I received the Littlest Pet Shop Rescue Tails Center Playset for my daughter and have observed her playing with it. Here are my impressions:

GENERAL
After I set it up, my daughter responded right away, and in general she has fun with it. She especially likes the flashing lights of the "ambulance" (that has become a toy she plays with separate from the rest of the set). She also likes the "X-Ray" machine built into the side of the ambulance, with the three different "film" images. She likes putting toy animals inside the back of the ambulance (though she sometimes has a hard time geting them back out, as the inside of the ambulance is a bit tight). She laughs when she plays with the bobble-headed dog toy. And she likes watching the emergency elevator spin and drop. The array of flipping, opening, spinning parts do keep her attention.

It pretty much does what it promises: creates a little play area where a young child can pretend to be "helping" animals. I'm not sure that most kids at three years of age will understand what a "veterinary clinic" is and exactly what a stethescope and other medical equipment is for, but they will understand that animals are involved and they are directing the scenes.

CONSTRUCTION:
In general, everything is made fine, with thin but durable plastic. The ambulance wheels around smoothly, and it has held up to her repeated opening and closing of the back door. The light on the ambulance works great, even after my daughter has pushed the buttong over and over again, and the same goes for the X-ray machine.

The whole structure that forms the building opens and closes well. It's fairly compact when it's closed up.

NOT OBNOXIOUS
I've been searching for interactive toys for my daughter that can be fun and create imaginary situations for her, but which DO NOT rely on annoying sounds to keep kids' attention. I like the fact that this toy does not make any electronic noises! Even the flashing lights are minimized her -- the only one appears on top of the ambulance. Other than that, it is just quiet, interactive elements.

KEEP IN MIND
There are only a couple of cautions here (these are not necessarily negatives):
1. There are several very small parts with this set, so watch your child if he or she is under 3 or still puts things in his or her mouth.
2. Getting everything out of the package take a little while. There are numerous plastic straps, and tiny rubber bands holding everything in place. Be prepared to operate with a pair of scissors before play time.

Overall, I'd say this toy has its value.

This brightly colored pet rescue center is absolutely adorable. I brought it to the summer camp for disabled children where I have been volunteering this summer and put it on the play table. All the children, especially those aged 10 and under, were engrossed with it for over an hour. They had some additional little animals that went with this set already at the camp, so they had a blast taking the animal's x-rays, putting them in the baby ward, give them vaccinations, etc. I think this toy was especially relevant for these disabled children because so many of them are medically fragile and have spent considerable time in hospitals and doctor's offices. By being a "doctor" to the animals it may have alleviated some of their own fears about being in a medical facility. As other reviewers have stated, there are a lot of little pieces that could easily get lost but by providing a large ziploc bag to place the pieces in when they have finished playing that problem was eliminated at the camp. A fun and educational toy. The 3 baby bunny triplets that are included are sooo cute!

Hasboro takes this small toy and do just about everything possible to make it look larger. The result is one of the most frustrating things I have ever had to unpack. So if you are giving this....plan ahead. It is a cute idea and they include a little dog and some bunnies to put on a stretcher as pets to 'doctor'. The 'Littlest Pet Shop Rescue Tails Center Playset' it geared toward girls color wise but could also be a nice set for boys as well. A lot of cute ideas incorporated into this set along with an ambulance with a top light and a side of it lights up so you can slide little x-rays in for viewing, there are 3 included. I think the rest of it is pretty average as these sorts of things go. It folds closed but does not snap shut and there is really no place inside that has a little area to hold all the pieces in it securely if you want to travel with it Certainly you need a place to store the little pieces because there are *a lot* of tiny, tiny little pieces that go with this set. It will be tough for smaller children to deal with some of them because they are so small. It is cute and if your child is a huge fan and has other pieces of their 'Littlest Pet Shop' items then perhaps this is a good buy for your child.
To be honest I can't say that this is going to hold a child's attention all that well and I think it is not worth $45.00 as the pieces to it will be lost in no time which will detract from the overall interest of the toy. I'm really not all that impressed with Hasboro's ' 'Littlest Pet Shop Rescue Tails Center Playset'.

First of all this comes in a wonderful kid attracting box. But it took this adult 15 minutes to get all of the items cut loose from the box. Some parts are hard plastic that seems a bit fragile to me. Other parts are harder vinyl that will be quite durable. It comes with one full size pet a dog. It also has triplet bunnies that are tiny, they sit nicely on the stretcher that goes in the ambulance. The dog is designed to pull the ambulance and take care of the others, or it can be a patient too. You can take x-rays that light up and the red light on the ambulance flashes. No noises (parent freindly). You can hook them up to Iv bags, there is a removable cast and many medical items all as I said VERY SMALL. It states for age 4 and up. I would be concerned for younger children in the home.

I would also get a few more pets to go with it. I kept the cardboard pictures of the animals that are displayed in the box so the children will have more pets to "work on". The basket rocks and is removable there are compartments for the medicines and tools. Three sets of x-rays are included. Some parts are cardboard.

As stated in the title, this is a quiet gentle play toy, I think ages 5-7 years could keep it in one piece, younger children who are more rough would have this broken in no time.

The bright colors are a lot of fun and there are many more play sets in the series. It even has Nintendo DS games and wii games. Very cute idea for children to use imagination. Again I must state many small items that would be choking hazard to small children.
