I'm new to this thing, so maybe this is common knowledge, but I was surprised to find out that these pets no longer have the magnet in their feet...just an empty hole where it used to go. Apparently this is because they could fall out and be swallowed by young children. While I'm all for safety, and wouldn't be thrilled if my [...] year-old ate one, they're way too small to pose a choking hazard and the lack of the magnet renders them useless in the magnet-based gimmicks in all the playsets. Hasbro and/or Amazon should make it clear that the pets they are currently selling have no magnets.

Here is yet another great LPS set. It includes 10 pets, with a lot of other items and accessories. Everything that it contains is very durable. The set includes a LPS puffin, pig, mouse, lizard, cat, fawn, bunny, dog, fish, frog, sandbox, picnic basket, shovel and pail, dog "treat", teddy bear, skateboard, and a seat.
Very fun! A great addition to any LPS lover's collection.
You can reuse the case. It can contain a lot of pets!!!!!

As with every young child, my kindergartner goes through phases and her current favorite is the Zoobles range of figures. However, she is also still collecting (on an irregular basis) the Littlest Pet Shop characters. This set comes with ten figures and a couple of accessories that make for a fun and creative play time. My daughter loves to indulge in imaginative play and spends hours creating imaginary worlds for her little friends. This is an excellent starter pack for young children (over three years of age). The plastic case that comes with this set is also practical as it can be used to store the toys and re-used in other ways.

We got this for my six year old grand daughter on her birthday. She immediately began playing with it and I hardly saw her for at least an hour. It really did stimulate her imagination!

WOW i got this 6 years ago from k mart for 12$ BUT 99$ that is more than than 12 times the price.the magnets make this toy worth too much but taking out the magnets now there useless.they should be at least be 12$. its sad too see toys so much.Hasbro will come after you

Personally, I was irritated when my little girls (4 and 3) requested Littlest Pet Shop toys for Christmas. It seemed that they were just one more thing to step on or lose. However, the girls are in love. They play with them all the time. I am amused as I overhear their funny "pretend play" conversations. This set is a good starter set. It does have very little pieces but so far, my girls have been pretty good about cleaning them up when they are done playing.

My daughter just got these to add to her collection and adores them! I'm all for them too- simple, pretty sturdy, we can learn about animals (not from the toy, but we take it further using her current favorites and the internet.) A good toy!

This Littlest Pet Shop 10 pack of pets is a good value at about $20, considering that some 2-packs are $10 and 3-packs are $15. My niece likes the cute little pets and especially the items & accessories.

Good value on a per pet price

CON:
The plastic bands that hold the pets in place make it difficult to remove the pets from the plastic mold.

This 10 pack comes in a nice carrying case and it's an overall great buy because of the number of pets and accessories in this set.

The toys are fun and my daughter loves them. My only complaint is that this particular package is so old that you can no longer register them online... the upside is she now has some pieces that are unavailable otherwise. Either way she loves them and it is a great starter kit into the unbelievably overwhelming world of Littlest Pet Shop.

My six year old loves her pet shop toys. she sets them all out and plays with her four year old brother by evenly distributing the items and pets and then they name them all and go about with their imaginative play.
