A really good choice!,

As a nursing student (at the time) I was obviously required to get a stethoscope. I chose this stethoscope because of its durability and quality. So far I'm really impressed with it! The auditory tube is well protected under the rubber sleeve so when using the scope if you bump or scrape the tube the interference is much less than many other cheaper scopes. I hear some people say that the tube is or gets somewhat sticky, but I have not found that to be true yet. The black tube is smooth, shiny, and not sticky...but grippy enough to stay around your neck. I imagine that when Littmann designed it they took into account that the rubber tube should grip clothing. It came with an additional set of harder earpieces that simply slide on or off. I like the earpieces that were already on the scope. I say if your really looking to save money, than try and search for a free stethoscope i.e locally, or buy a cheap one. However, if you are willing to spend more money than the Littmann classic II is a solid choice.

Great stethescope, I used a cheap one before I had this its like night and day. I would recomend any RT get this stethoscope as it works wonderfully.

This is an excellent stethoscope. I was surprised of the accuracy and how relaiable it is. Perfect for an EMT. It is worth every penny.
