This is a great concept, but is on the small side and is made of an inferior quality heavy cardstock/cardboard. Brightly-colored and decorated, it has a built-in wardrobe with plastic hangers for Liv fashions which also converts into a single bed, after a little maneuvering. There is also a built-in dresser with drawers that really open up, so you can store your shoes and other Liv accessories. A "mirror" and some built-in shelving to display purses or even a wig on a model head or two rounds it out. The whole thing converts into a bedroom when opened up. The problem is that everything is made so flimsy and cheaply, you'll be lucky if your little girl doesn't completely trash it within the year, or even six months with regular play. I had a similar thing for my Barbie when I was little, but it was constructed of heavy corrugated cardboard and lasted for years and years. What would have been better, was if they had made it in padded vinyl, at least, like Barbie carrying cases are. Still, its all that's out there for the Liv Dolls, and my granddaughter loves it.

My 9 yr old got this and a Liv doll for Christmas. She loves it. It is a good fit for her because a) she is not a toddler or small child b) she is not interested in making it more then it is and c) she won't break it in a week. I would NOT get this for anyone under the age of 7. It is cardboard, it will not hold up. However, for my kiddo at her age it is a great addition to her doll-world :)
